Naah Dj, the Guru's are light years better at watching film than I am Dj, for example I can see Wake make the spin move, or Q Moses shed his blocker "but" who was trying to block them?

    :dunno:

The Guru's have an eye for things like that, as well as watching multiple players on the same play, so I tend to rely on them.

Though Conu is wrong about Wake, but I'll let that one slide...:wink2:

When you do, there's the screen pass that Wake bit on as well. I think it was on the TD that got called back. In any event, the setup was pretty blatant.

15x fast forward makes life easier...and it will save Conu some time if he goes back to look at the play.

ok well at least your not just going by one game.

CK is in love with him after one game  so you too will fall in line :tongue2:

And let's not forget their are still some people out there that think JT is a one trick pony and still should be on a basketball court and far away from a football field.lol , i've been hearing that from a friend of mine for over 12 years now.

    Okeedokee..

If you would brother theres 4 players i would love your analysis on..Jake Grove...Lousaka...Donald thomas....Smiley.... all pertaining to our running game, i need to get to the bottome of this. Ive been in a bad mood all day trying to understand why the most highly paid oline in the league cant get a yard up the middle after multiple attempts..i couldnt focus on the oline with the stream.

    Why the Oline wasn't effective?

    1. The Jags have some of the best DT's in the NFL...that is not an exaggeration.

    2. D Thomas did fine, he would get the occasional chip or help but one on one he did fine.

    3. Lousaka looked really bad Dj, he would head into the Oline and run clean through and not block a soul, I did not see him put a hat on a single Jag defender..not one..it could have happened but I didn't notice it.

    4. Justin Smiley had a poor game, he got no push.

    5. Jake Grove was on John Henderson and it was a stalemate most of the night, which meant Henderson "won", Grove had no push on Henderson.

Even Big Jake played at a subpar level, we may rest JT and JP against Carolina, but I bet the first team Oline stays in until the third qtr just to improve cohesion.

This is a Cam Wake thread, so a nugget that I noticed, Wake gave both tackles problems and did not look lost out on the field, he looked like a Veteran NFL player meaning his movement was fine, inboth forward and reverse, even the screen pass emo referenced, Wake was doing his job, no one came up in run support behind him, and he nearly tipped that pass...

man would i love some Gifs from Wakes game, i dont think Crunch can do it from these preseason games though. Iam not remembering the play CK said he looked best on, where he spin moved back to the inside and made an assisted tackle..

I wrote last year that lousaka was getting praised a little too much for my taste...Padre, i cant put my finger on it, but somethin is pissin me off about this proset running game..

Even Sparano mentioned in his presser that he was most unhappy about our inability to run the ball in the standard offensive package. You can bet there will be some serious focus in practice and the next few preseason games on the OL, their coherence, the push, blocking past the initial DL, etc. Sparano is a former OL coach, I have confidence he will whip this OL into shape, but he better do it soon, our offense depends on it. Everything in our O is predicated on success in the running game. Vs. the Jags we had none.

So it would seem with JP out and all Wake will see 20 to 30 plays this game on passing downs.

Don't think he'll start but he'll be running around some OL on Sunday. I'm PUMPED!WOOT!!!

It seems like this FO knows that we are not a contender this year and is trying to spread playing time, and try out new plays. I wonder if this isnt all planed..
