I'd rather see him play Thursday at less than 100%. He'd then have 10 days for the Buffalo game. If he can play he should play.
I'm ready to see Kory Sheets get a couple shots in relief of Ricky this Thursday. The guy can make some plays, hopefully he gets the chance and hopefully he takes advantage of those chances. I watched this guy at Purdue his whole career and I can be a playmaker.
if the results are negative, then theres no reason for him not to play. We need to at least threaten carolina with the possibility of Ronnie and the Wildcat. Maybe we don't play Ronnie much, that's fine. But sitting him just gives carolina the ability to look past the wildcat entirely.
You can still have a horrible ankle sprain with negative x-rays. All that means is that his ankle isn't broken.
Yeah, the negative results mean he's not out for the season. Anyone who has had a bad muscle pull or sprain can probably attest to the fact that us normal people need to take it easy. Unless it was something really benign and minor (which if it was they probably wouldn't be doing xrays), he shouldn't play. It will nag him, cause him to produce less, and possibly risk getting worse. Give him 14 days, Ricky Williams can definitely step up in his place. Get Kory Sheets a couple hand offs too and see what he can do. Carolina isn't a high calibur team that we need to go throwing in half-injured players to try and beat them.
Was it a high ankle sprain......? Looked pretty bad and looks like that's why he let go of the ball....... d-1
Just heard on the advertising for the NFL Network that Ronnie Brown leads the Dolphins vs the Carolina Panthers........ Maybe that will happen.... the NFL Network to carry the game this Thursday... d-1
I just hope he's back for the Bill's game, or for the Pats at the latest. My fantasy team will struggle without him; but the Dolphins are more important.
Great to see it's not broken. I'm sure if he can play, he will play but they'll probably be cautious with him. Hopefully the phins can beat the panthers w/o him.
