http://insider.espn.go.com/nfl/insider/news/story?id=4682858 Good stuff to hear. I wish we had a more explosive offense but we're still progressing. Oh, and we need better receivers.
My initial response to the first line of the quote: May have something?????? Well, Geez 'o' Pete! Ya Think????
Henne has performed well. Period. After 3 games Mark Sanchez was the heir apparent, yet after going 5-2 as a starter for a previously 0-3 team, Henne "may" be good. Hmmmmm?
Still to early to tell how Henne will do in the long run, but right now he's looking like a steady, capable NFL QB. I would really like to see what he could do with a set of pro level WRs and a good TE.
A good O line getting better. A solid running game getting younger. A Franchise QB cometh. Only one piece left to this puzzle. This offseason I see Parcells pouncing on a solid Veteran WR and a High Draft pick to make a real run at the bowl next year.
Give Henne some receivers and watch what happens. He can get the ball there, but he can't make them catch it.
The Dolphins never get the same respect (individually or as a team) that other franchises do... it makes me sick, but it seems to be the "media standard." I'm a big Henne fan, and I love that he's getting at least some kudos from the press --
