completely disagree with that. Not everything has to be fast paced to be good

While I agree that shows don't always have to be fast paced to be good, the past 3 episodes have been both slow and pretty useless besides a scene here or there. I agree with Gish that tonight's episode better be good or people will start to turn against it. Right now it feels like the writers are just trying to fill time in until the April 29th episode thus why we're getting pointless events and scenes happening now. It kind of reminds me of the last season of the Sopranos where we knew the good stuff wasn't going to happen until the end so we got treated to seeing Vito and Johnny Cakes in Vermont for filler episodes.

I've heard the lead speak before and like "House", he has an accent.

I like the show. The female FBI agent (and G/F) shocked me, somehow she still ends up pregnant. "Penny" is trying hard not to be with this guy. I think he's sneaky. I think he's part of the crew trying to kill her husband.

Is it just me or all these new and other shows trying to have a gay storyline? It doesn't bother me just something Ive picked up on. Also they have mainly involved all Girl on Girl which is freaking awesome :D

Schrodinger's Cat reference AND a little nod (perhaps) to the Manchurian Candidate with the Queen of Diamonds. Little things like that make a dork like me happy.

Another so-so episode that was slow moving and didn't go anywhere. If you stop and think about it, nothing is really happening in these episode, it's all just a time filler. I mean the blue hand group was a bunch of people who didn't have a flashback so they would do crazy things because they didn't care about life anymore. So what? I seriously doubt it has anything to do with the blackout.

The only interesting thing I liked was the young black FBI agent killed himself (which is too bad because I liked the character). But it did make sense, I mean everyone thinks these flashforwards will happen no matter what whether they're good or bad and just accepting them. Why don't they try to change it all somehow. Especially with Demetri (sp?) he knows someone is going to kill him on March 15th, so if I'm him, on March 14th I'm going to stock up on food and drive out of town to a remote location and lock myself in a room with weapons for the next 24 hours.

And I really care less about the guy with the beard and his daughter storyline.

This show is in trouble, one of the co-runners of the show has left, the ratings are hitting new lows each week and now they're stopping filming for about a week or so. I hate to say it but I don't think we'll see a Season 2 here, which isn't surprising at all. Besides for the obvious bad acting, nothing has happened at all after the 3rd episode of the series and it's gotten pretty boring to watch in my opinion. I think I'm going to stick it out until the end of the season just because there's nothing else on on Thursdays at 8 but unless they really change directions I probably won't watch a Season 2 if there is one.

See, I quite liked the last episode, because it was character-driven.

I agree with doc on this one. I enjoy when a show/cast is diverse and goes beyond the main players. Bryce is a secondary character, but an intriguing one because the guy started off the series looking to kill himself, blacks out, has an epiphany and wakes up with a new lease on life. I thought the switcharoo with Japan/L.A. was a nice touch as well.

I tend to agree with Finkle on the daughter storyline as its almost a jump the shark-esque type of moment that she survives that humvee attack. I think it would almost be cooler to have some of the flash forward's be false positives in a way. That he sees something that is impossible, but gives him hope, which leads to him driving himself mad on how it can be, forces him to drink, breakdown, etc.

It would work in context of the story as well as the main guy looks to fall off the wagon as well, especially if say, his sponsor did first.

Either way, I like the show and will stick it out as long as it is on. I am curious as to what the endgame is.

I'm looking forward to seein where it goes once they acknowledge they caused the blackout, or does it just turn out that what they were doin was a coincident with what happened.

Last night's episode actually wasn't bad, even if the ending was predictable. It was a good way to end the 1st half of the season. But no episodes until March? That seems like an awfully long time to have a break.

Sidenote: I love how the actor that played Ira Gaines aka the bad guy from the first half of Season 1 of 24 is D. Gibbons. The guy plays a great creepy bad guy.

Winter Olympics. The network wanted to run the series straight through and didn't want breaks in between new episodes. A lot of the shows won't be new until March except for the really big shows like 24 and Lost.

Ok I think I've finally given up on this show. The first 2 episodes of the series were very good and I had very high hopes for it and then it just went downhill from there. The other episodes have been pretty boring and uneventful for the most part. Last night's episode(s) were difficult to sit through and found myself pretty bored watching it and just stopped right along the 9:30 mark. I read the recap of what happened in the last 30 minutes and can't say I came off being too impressed by it.

Also the ratings came in and they were pretty low, only averages around 6.5 million viewers and got just under a 2.0 rating so it looks like this show is in serious trouble and make not get picked up for a 2nd season. I think the over 3 month lay off certainly hurt the show, along with the acting (which is pretty bad overall), direction and pacing of the show (it's suppose to be a serial series yet the story moves so slow).
