The Dawgs were trying to injure Tebow .If you go through the video and look for it you will note how many times he was hit or gouged after the play .

Spikes was protecting his buddy. Its the retaliator of an agression that usually gets caught.

What he did was wrong but its understandable considering the circumstances of the rivalry .This game has the same intensity of the Fins vs the Jets x10.

Even though he was suspended for a half by Meyer the SEC will probably add more sanctions.

Georgia played dirty the whole game. you could see late hits all the time and Spikes did not act because they were in a close game and thought he had to do it to win. he did it to get back and if he is protecting players than I am all for it and agree with him. I will stick with my teammates to the end and especially if they are being hurt.

By the way where is the suspension for Nick Williams? No flag either on this. Dirty hit on Tebow

This version shows a close up of the dirty hit .Tebow was looking downfield and was not expecting the late hit .The refs must be Georgia fans.:wink2:

Buckeye, the suspension for fighting and throwing a punch is half a game. It's right on par for suspensions. You couple the fact that the RB who was "gouged" says he doesn't care about what Spikes did and doesn't believe the suspension should be longer, I don't see how it's a joke.

    Also there's this.

I dunnnnnknow...is it in Nashville or is it a Gator home game at Raeford?

I was actually kidding but with McCoy taking a "lead" in the HT race according to some the Gators and the Gators wanting to run up the Tebow stats they could could actually cover 61 .......

They actually do a mock Heisman poll and currently Tebow leads. I think the Gators will play really well and the key is scoring early and get Vandy in comevack mode. No way the Gators win by 61. I think 40 would be more realistic but number prob be around 30

I think every week I watch I think the game plan is to do JUST enough to win the game.

I think they really do not want to take chances and give any team a chance against our Defense (which has played spectacular IMO).

Our redzone offense is sad and thats been huge so far. We get inside the 20 and just can't punch it in. We have one good WR and than every where else is medi=core at best at WR. Hernandez has been huge at TE. Our defense has been amazing all year!! Defense has only allowed 8 td's all year. Thats prety good

I am not as down on our wrs as most. I truthfully am starting to question why we do not look at other wrs. I really think Tebow is TOO focused on Hernandez and Cooper. I keep seeing Nelson and Thompson being open, but hardly thrown to. Now Thompson has dropped enough balls, that I understand thinking twice about throwing to him. However, Brandon James has dropped just as many, but he keeps getting the ball!?

Our Red Zone offense is, IMO, too predictable. However, I think a lot of that is just because our coaches know we do not NEED to score. So Tebow up the middle is ok. Makes me think we are saving some plays for a time when we really need it. (at least that is my hope)

It's my hope too, Oboy. I'm not so upset that we are not putting points on the board like we did last year. A solid win, is a win, to me. I think we can beat anyone in the SEC with what we have now. I just don't like a stuttering inconsistent offense. If TT decides he going to run, that's what I want to see from him. He seems a little timid this year. Even before the concussion.

I think Tebow does look at Cooper and Hernandez alot, But there are his most dependable. Its hard for tebow to look over the field with the Oline not blocking well on passing plays. Ppl starting to blitz Tebow a lot lately. Thompson needs to learn how to catch. He gets open but drops a lot of balls. I can't wait to see Frankie Hammond jr play however I think that run blocking is the reason we don't see more WR's playing. I wanna see some short passes like slants and drags. With our WR speed I think its a smart and safe play

Our redzone offense doesn't spread the field as much as playing our regular offense. I think thats a big part, But I agree that we are predictable.

I really don't believe that. I mean he was rated as a great player in High school but who knows what he will be in college. Look at Deonte Thompson but he may be great

I have been telling all my friends the same thing. WHERE ARE THE WR SLANTS??? With the LB blitz which every team is now doing and our speedy wrs, that is a MONEY play!

He may start a Cali recruiting snowball as Shaw is very good friends with a couple of other top Cali players who are undecided and who were waiting to see where Shaw would go.

Haden is all but gone and he should be. He may be a top 10 pick. Our DB class is crazy good and I think we will also add Cody Riggs.

I really only care aout Ronald Powell from Cali. He is going to be a superstar where ever he goes. He is down to USC and Florida. Below is alittle info on Powell

Crunch, do you know if these guys were allowed into the post game locker room activities last night? I hope so. There is much more going on at UF than completing a season undefeated. It's is far better to build men, than to mend them. Many thanks to Coach Meyer and his staff for realizing this. I believe he has now established his ground rules for what is required to be a Gator. Brandon Spikes, displayed that in his action during pregame introduction. Keep on rolling Gators! Twelve down, two to go.

No.Jordan is Joe's younger brother and he is a Gator commit.

Josh is the brother that got away and signed with Boston C.

Some are speculating that he is considering a transfer but IMO I think its more likely its more like a family re-union .
