Watching the jets bills game just shows how bad we need to improve our secondary. I can't believe we did not win that game. Lets see what happens on Sunday not too optimistic about that one...
And there is the difference between the Jets and Dolphins: Late in the game Fitzpatrick throws a long pass: Against the Jest, Revis pulls down the Int Against the Dolphins, Davis complains about a pushoff for a TD.
Eh, that is the thing about this season, even I can't say either way which Dolphins team will show up, which one plays the first half and which one plays the second half. I do think Rook Cb's are hurting us this season and a Rook Qb is also hurting us, but the thing with Rook's is, you never know, one game great, the next game garbage.
i dunno lucky, iam not hating.....but imo that loss last week is heart breaking and imo very telling of this team, the coaching staff and the mentality we have.......not just a great team.....but a good team.....wins that game last week.....and we lost, badly....with everything on the line to a inferior team with their backup QB and shambled offensive line
if our CB's were more mature do we pull out the W against BUF last week? I think the difference is they have Revis and Sheppard. We've got 2 rookies who are playinig very well for their experience.. and only looking up.. but we were burned quite a few times. Does it make that much a difference?
we won last year with the season on the line, they won in new york this year with a couple of losses in a row, etc........... it happens really. I think you guys are freaking out over something that has happened and will continue to happen, the bigger dog getting upset. I think the only thing you can say for sure about the dolphins right now is they lack the playmaking consistency.
rookies or not.......they are playing against ryan fitzpatrick. end of story. i would hope our 1st round and 2nd round corners from big colleges could win against a ivy league journyman backup qb with a horrible oline.....jmo
i know the QB is **** but the receivers aren't that bad. I mean TO is a shell of his former self, but is still TO. Evans. I remember some people here wanted him if it was possible. dunno just saying. Also it wouldn't have hurt if TO dropped a game changing pass or two...
we started 0-3.....we beat a bad bills team at home. we beat the jets twice by a combined 9 points.....we went to the very last play against a below avg panther team......we beat a horrible tampa team at home by 2 points down to the wire.....and thats it.....we played some good teams close but didnt finish, and then we lost to the bills, with 10 days of preparation, division game with everything on the line.....thats on our coaching....and thats on our leaders.....and imo....its not good.
they had those same WRs and we won 38-10 earlier in the season.....we came out flat and got punched in the mouth.....the end of the game last week our defense looked like they gave up....it was pathetic and telling of sparano and his staff imo
well if you want to count the close wins, you gotta count the close losses to good teams no? that means we are either right below good if you want to do it that way. not saying we shouldn't have won against the bills, but if you thought a game against a division rival, in our division, in their house was a sure thing, you were fooling yourself imo.
with 10 days to prepare, and them playing with street free agents at anchor positions on the offensive line.......i expect us to win. sparano failed his team imo. iam interested to see how we come out sunday
and we have injuries also........... back up qb, injuries on our oline, loss of ronnie, etc. i dont know if sparano failed the team. you can try to prepare your team, but in the end what they do is what they do. i think you have to put the loss on all of them. i think using it to say a team they swept and another the split with is better is negativity run awry.
its the opposite, i think our wins/loss against the jets/bills arent impressive, thus i think people have the wrong impression of us as a team.....we are maybe middle of the road.....but imo not a good team
I think we are a good but inconsistent team Sick in all honesty, our youth is a handicap and a catalyst all at the same time. This Pats game comes at a great time for us, seriously, every part of the team will be pressure tested from the players to the Staff, and imho the players and Staff who do not perform are prime candidates for either demotion or promotion. May win, may lose, I do have a good feeling about this game, two teams coming off of embarrassing loses with alot at stake, this should be fun.
Uhhmm.... Utah and Illinois? Far far from being "Big Colleges" bro. I honestly dont remember many if any Corners coming in and having a Pro-Bowl first year.... Those two are gonna be just fine. I am actaully very comfortable where we are at CB for the next 5 years including Nate Jones
I didnt read thru this entire thread, but did anyone hear the Jills fans calling Sanchize a "homo" as he was walking into the tunnel?
