How does that work in any sense? They scored 17 points after that point, and didn't have alot of problems immediately after.

    Not even remotely close.

--Think what you want but our O-line was handling their D line at will. Ricky wasn't even being touched the first 3 yds of his runs and I stand by my 99% chance he would have scored with 3 rushing attemps.

Really? Because, you know, we haven't lost many games where we came out and scored quicky now have we?

--If you don't think one play changes a game then we can simply agree to disagree. When you have two mediocore teams and one comes out and smashes your face in on the opening drive a mental aspect of the game comes into play. Same with when a team comes out smashing your face in, but then you come out on top and hold them to squat, that is a huge mental builder for you moving forward.

Not playing anything - nothing lame about reality A bad call can still be overcome by solid execution.

Ricky failed to execute, and said so. He knew he had the receiver open but made a bad pass...and he said his other other option was to simply throw it away. He practiced it enough in practice for them to be confident in calling it.

Do I wish they didn't sure - cause I prefer pounding the ball vs. HB passes (even when they are successful - I dont like the risk), but it comes down to Execution of any call...and solid execution can include Ricky in this instance throwing it away. PROTECT THE BALL.

Execution is the main culprit either way...not the play call itself.
