henne has the rest of the year to make his bones
& I hope does
we need a franchise qb to step up as soon as possible

however, he has to do it
without excuses & in 2009
Pennington threw to the same receivers with success
henne has been training with these receivers
& offensive system for a year & a half
this is a tremendous advantage
there can be no excuses,
he has the rest of the season to get it right

no one threw him to the wolves, like they did Beck
henne was groomed for the start by one of the best
& ordained our future & answer @ QB w/ great expectation
no more excuses. he is the only one that can answer the call
henne has the rest of the year to get it together
we don't need a great back-up & a promise, we need a starter
w/o the Franchise QB we go nowhere

the most critical thing that will come out of this year is the development of Henne as the Franchise QB
or the knowledge that we have to find one

henne has been compared to Flacco & Ryan
let him make good on the comparison
we really need a Flacco or Ryan to emerge

Henne is god awful, i mean he threw 1 int today... who cares about his amazing 88 yard drive for a TD or his great drive at the second half to get us back in this game while our D has been playing poorly. He is not going to be an elite QB in the NFL because he threw that 1 int today...

am i overreacting? you bet. To me he is still a Rookie QB and when i watch him, good out weighs the bad, by A LOT... i mean yeah he threw that int today, but without him we are out of this game... He has so much potential its not even funny. Yeah we will most likely miss the playoffs, but i mean how can you not be excited about our future when for the first time in forever he have a QB that we know will be great for us for the long haul. I do believe Henne will one day be an elite QB in the NFL.

 

Barring an act of god, based on what I've seen so far, I believe Henne will be a top ten QB by his fourth year at the latest.

Thats a dumb question actually, even after his performance today... I'm sure people are still going to be negative about this kid...

 

I wish he hadn't had overthrown Lousaka Polite on 3rd down, but hindsight is 20/20. Chad had some poise today against the Pats and that's a statement if you ask me.

 

It really is sad.. He's doing all of this without a game changing receiver. Sure he had some bad throws in this game, but no qb is perfect throughout an entire game especially a ROOKIE. I can't wait to watch him grow up and command this team.
