JT makes King's all decade team, snubs Thomas http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2009/magazine/specials/2000s/12/05/nfl.decade.team/index.html Story of Zach's life huh?
He played at the same time as Ray Lewis and as much as I love Zach, Ray is the best middle linebacker/most feared MLB in this era.
Zach was the first guy he gave a tip of the cap to. If not for Fletcher, he'd have gotten it. Also, Zach played two more season in the 90's. So there's that straddle of decades, like Strahan, and his career is naturally winding down sooner. He missed 11 games in 2007, came off the field on 3rd downs in 2008 and hasn't played in 2009. Fletcher is as good as ever and still has not missed a game in 12 seasons. Basically, Fletcher has more good years this decade.
Just read this. Couldn't help notice how many times they mentioned the fact Miami passed up on Brees.
My man JT! I do wish Zach would get noticed more. He's such a good player and great guy. I don't agree with the belicheat pick. He was only good as long as they got away with the cheating..lol
Nice to see a guy like Aaron Smith get some love, all those LB's in Pittsburgh get all the pub but this guy paves the way for them.
London Fletcher is one of the most underrated players of this generation. He's been a damn good linebacker for a long time. And how many guys, much less 5-10 guys, have flattened Brandon Jacobs?
Take a look at one of the 2000s favorite SI covers of the decade........ http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/multimedia/photo_gallery/0911/top.nfl.covers.decade/content.3.html
