I want to apologize to you Devone for giving up on you when you was having a slump a few weeks ago. I casted you off as a bust because you was dropping easy catches that you would catch. I should have been patient but I wasn't. We was going through and up and down season and it seemed that everyone couldn't catch anything. I was frustrated and called you out. I even created a thread about you. I was wrong about you and I am sorry that I said those things. You are a very good receiver and I now only hope and wish you the best on your career. I am sure its going to be a great one!!
HAHA I know your watching this replay on NFL network. Rewatching all the plays back-to-back quickly really makes you appreciate Bess. Henne to Bess is looking beautiful. Lets get Bess the ball in every situation we can. The quick screens worked especially well during the Pats game. Not to forget Cam did a great job blocking on them.
Yeah he was just going through a sophomore slump at the time it seems but now he is back. It is cool everyone makes mistakes on judging players but I for sure am glad he is starting to make plays again. I still think Bess will continue to improve especially if we find a top receiver this offseason.
Yeah no kidding. Big mistake in my book. Bess probably has the best hands I have seen since Oronde Gadsden.

Don't feel bad a lot of us did the same thing. Things will get better and better the more time he and Henne get to work together. Henne has all the tools and makes very good use of all his receivers and Bess seems to be his "go to" guy, and really who could blame him the guys great. PS. I still don't like him in punt returns.

Technically speaking, he never could be viewed as a bust, because he came into the league with no lofty expectations.
Need to go easy on those so willing to step out and be absolved of their grievous oversight, as it sends the others back into the shadows, fearing retribution for their unwarranted vilification. Draw them back with forgiving tolerance, shared understanding and unswerving acceptance. Then, once the strays have all been corralled, bust out the bullwhips to build them a keen sense of empathy, and the stings of unfettered scrutiny!
