CC shouldn't talk about it ... its not like he made a play on the ball - the ball hit him in the chest ... CC shouldn't ever talk - since he can't back it up with his play on the field.
While I give Cameron all the credit in the world for creating that playing, some credit should go to Crowder for spying the QB. Just saying.
Its like he said, he didn't do anything. He just got to the position he was supposed to on the play. He sat mid field and waited for Brady to throw him the ball like he was warming up on the sidelines. Without Wake, that play wouldn't of happened, without Crowder that play was an incompletion anyways.
An incompletion and Interception is a HUGE difference..... gotta give crowder credit for holding on to the ball ! I myself hate crowder but did you see that DB from pitt drop that game sealing Pick in his chest? raiders went on to win... if crowder drops that ball and patriots go down the field and we lose , i dont think crowder would ever wear a fins uni again LOL but since he caught it , its like oh he didnt do anything...yeah he did...he caught it ! and we won because of it so you cant overlook that !
I have always supported Crowder & understand his hostility to the press in some ways he probably feels slighted by the fan base, too the guy wants to be a Dolphin & has made financial concessions to be one Crowder is a team player & has always been a solid piece on defense although seldom praised
Interesting, Seems like the only way to shut him up is when he makes a play............ Pretty sure this is the first time he has been quiet......just sayin......
What he did was indeed very tongue-in-cheek. The one time he does something mildly worthy of discussion, he shrugs it off!
Did anyone watch NFL Replay and hear what JT said about Crowder's interception? Something alone the lines of this... "I was actually surprised he caught it. I mean, the Lord blessed that kid with a lot of things... but a set of hands wasn't one of them."
You have a point, that being that it wasn't 4th down. But honestly, the ball was thrown at his chest. My dog could catch that, and he doesn't get paid millions. I am sorry, I don't think he is worth the money we pay him, and I love our FO but I still don't understand why we resigned him. I think we get better ILB by next year most likely through the draft. I am not gonna jump on the Crowder bandwagon cause he caught an interception, that he himself didnt even make a big deal about...and he shouldn't it was thrown right to his chest. I think I am more thankful for Paul Pasqualoni for making that call and having Crowder play robber in the middle of the field on that play. And of course for Wake on really making that play what it was.
I like the fact that he's not afraid to speak up. Plus, he is so funny. He's just the opposite of Ricky. Ricky just walks out, CC barges in.
i read an article in that espn rag couple years ago channing said he only hits the hot spots when he showers
