I agree, but our WR's have looked much better the last couple of weeks once they started throwing more and Henne seemed to be in sync with them. Maybe there is some truth to the WC causing issues with the sync of the QB/WR's... something to think about.
except ted "i'll catch one ball a game" ginn does he just make his obligatory catch and then shower and leave he should have been a magician instead of a football player his disappearing act is top notch
Good luck, BuckeyeKing. Check out the responses I got when I started a thread about this back in August: http://forums.thephins.com/showthread.php?t=36542
You really want "Baby TO"? At least the real T.O never has been in trouble with the law. Once baby TO gets his money, do you really thing he will behave? I would pass on this bum, IMO.
Wow... we made it 4 posts in a thread which has almost nothing to do with Ted Ginn before we got a 'Ginn Sucks' post. It must be a new record.
He got thrown the ball one time, what do you want? He hasn't made a mistake in about 4 weeks now. One out of one is the best you can do.
And as a WR, he has caught what has come to him for two weeks. In fact you can say he has been a better WR than KR the past two weeks.
I really want a cheerleader, but I can't have one I understand your point, he is making plays and he is staying out of trouble, but can you really trust him if you give him the big money??
Honestly not sure I guess the Miami nightlife would be a bad thing for a guy like that. I just want a true number 1 receiver.
I hate to burst your bubble but there is no way the broncos don't place the franchise tag on him. This guy would make our offence a top 5 but every year we talk about this free agent and that free agent only to see them get re signed by thier own team. It's still nice to dream once in a while though.
He just hit a slump. He'll bounce back. I just hope he bounces back as a Dolphin instead of as a Patriot.
GM Steve doens't think he can stay out of trouble for the life of a 5 yr(ish) deal for big money. He's only been a angel for a couple of months and he is in a contract year. I just don't trust the guy. Another reason I don't trust him is even today after the game he was asked if he would give back any of his catches for a win and he responded with "Yea, I'd give a couple back". He should have said he would have given all 21 back for a win. I just don't trust him.
IF we had any chance of getting this Joker, it was prior to the Dallas game! Since that, I gaurantee you he isn't going anywhere!
That's ridiculous. So because the guy didn't say he'd give them all back, you don't trust him? The guy is a beast on the field, and we need that! If he's stupid enough to get himself arrested and thrown in jail then thats his problem, not ours. I'm fairly certain his next contract will have some conduct stipulations.
Hell, people out her in Denver still don't trust him He is very selfish, we don't need that type of player on this TEAM.
I'm just saying that there are better options out there. I know we need a true #1, but what we don't need is a headache.
There have to be better options out there. I'd like to trust Parcells to get Parcells-guys. Not someone who will throw hissy-fits in the off-season because he feels he's not getting paid enough despite having already signed/agreed to a contract. So I think it might be better to keep drafting guys who might fit the system. A big-time guy can -and I believe will- be drafted.
Ginn is using his powers as a wizard to trick the ball into not being thrown his way. Seriously, he's been just fine the last couple of games. He's made some really nice catches. Bess fumbled today, AGAIN, but I don't see any "Bess Sucks" threads. Ricky had three fumbles, and I don't see any "Ricky Sucks" threads. Posted via Mobile Device
Exactly. Guys like him and "Ochocinco" make me sick. Why, just earlier today, 85 had the nerve to go out and put himself in the spotlight by casually fraternizing with the opposing mascot again, despite having just lost 30-10. That guy is a selfish clown not interested in winning in the slightest.
Don't bring in Marshall. Remember the fight he and Porter had? I doubt they would get along. Now, someone like Vincent Jackson would be terrific.
TO Has had 3 changes in in scenery. Same deal there. Lots of talent, lots of trouble for their second team. Moss? Lemme not get started on him. Let's just keep drafting shall we? Drafted talents such as Andre Johnson, Hines Ward, Reggie Wayne, are team-guys who fit a system from the get-go.
I agree, a change of scenery doesn't always work. Hell, Moss quit today. Brandon Marshall got the nickname "baby T.O." back in college, so I really doubt he has changed much. Plus change of scenery?? He didn't go to college in Denver and he made a change of scenery when he got drafted by the Broncos and that hasn't helped. It's funny that everytime a WR has a big game, we get these threads about how we need that player. Miles Austin anybody??
Brandon Marshall wasn't crying about not getting the ball he was throwing a fit because they weren't paying him. You pay the man he will shut up.
I coulda sworn I read somewhere that Marshall will be a restricted free-agent. Anyone know where I could look to find out?
when it comes to marshall, just ask yourself this, would parcells want this guy on his team? The answer is a crystal clear no.
If not him then I would love to see us get that type of a receiver. The price would have to be right though.
I think you can't force the situation. You need to be aggressive but not overly aggressive. I'm not saying absolutely not to Brandon Marshall but I'm not saying yes either. If you can get a playmaker for a price that you feel is worthy, then do it. Just don't mortgage your future with one guy. That's a recipe for disaster IMO. Just ask the Carolina Panthers and how much freedom they had once they paid Julius Peppers' franchise tag.
