i wouldn't be surprised if we traded turner to the jets so he could reunite with sanchez. i wonder what his season would be like if he went there to begin with.

taurus johnson is a good player that plays hard. i have been friends with him since grade school and if given the chance i believe he will do big things. he can at least catch the ball which is a lot more than we can say for some of our receivers.

The Ford Taurus SHO is hardly slow. I'm about to sign a lease and/or finance one. It's a great car.

no offense...but catching balls in a college game is far different than catching them in an NFL game or practice. Lets see him do it in live fire and then make the statement that he can at least catch the ball.

Don't quite understand this signing. We drafted a taller, comparable speed receiver in Turner. Not sure how Johnson can help.

Because having similar measurables in no way equates to similar play on the field.

That's true. But, I'm assuming that Turner's measurables (i.e., height) was a major influence on the decision to draft him as that's an area where we needed to improve. Picking up somebody that's about the same height as Bess, Hartline, and Camarillo, but slower (or just not faster) doesn't make much sense to me. Particularly since those guys have shown to have good hands and run good routes (i.e., their good play).

Well some players "play" faster than they time. Also remember this isnt for this year, it's just for development. By the time he plays, who knows what receivers are actually on our team.

True. I have a strange feeling too that amongst Bess, Camarillo, and Hartline, we may only have two of the three next year.

Really? Myself, I would be surprised if all 3 weren't back next year.
    We've been keeping 5 WRs.
They all 3 know the system
Bess has been outstanding at converting on 3rd down.
Hartline is showing a great deal of promise as a rookie; he's actually been one of the only WRs to score for us.
Camarillo is still working towards pre injury form.
I think we'll see an infusion of fresh talent at WR. I'm just not so sure that we'll that many new faces. 1-2 IMO.

I think all 3 have a good chance at being back again next year. But if I absolutely had to choose 1 that wouldn't be back is Camarillo, and only because he isn't as young as Bess and Hartline.

But honestly, I think they all deserve to be on the team next year.

As far as the Taurus signing goes, unless he completely blows everyone away at practice, I wouldn't understand giving him a chance to play on game day before Turner gets his shot.

Jason Taylor is probably our 2nd best overall "best" OLB. So he's playing, regardless of who is opposite of him.

So you have Joey Porter, or Cam Wake? Porter has come along decently lately, and knows the scheme pretty well, even though he's poor in space. Also, and this is the big one, he makes more money. Miami almost has to keep the guy out there.

Using Cam Wake in the end of the game when he's much fresher than Porter is a smart thing. Miami gets their veteran in there who knows the plays for the majority of the game, and then they get a breath of fresh air with Wake coming in late against a tired RT. Miami is just bringing him along slowly. And I do not disagree with that.

I like all three, but the reason I feel that maybe only 2 will be back is that I think we'll try to upgrade the position and find a true #1. Unfortunately, the 3 are all very similar in their roles and capabilities. And if I had to choose 2, I think Camarillo would be the odd man out too.

    You mean 365-hp twin-turbo EcoBoost V6 all-wheel-drive slow?
Ricers have nothing to be cocky about anymore....... not that they did before either.
