PLEASEPLEASEPLEASEPLEASEPLEASEPLEASEPLEASEPLEASEPLEASEPLEASEPLEASEPLEASEPLEASEPLEASEPLEASEPLEASEPLEASEPLEASEPLEASEPLEASEPLEASEPLEASEPLEASEPLEASEPLEASEPLEASEPLEASEPLEASEPLEASE If Miami can add two WR's like that, we'd be in great shape for the future.
Baldwin looks like a future 1st rounder.... too bad we have to wait a year or 2 for him. LOL Posted via Mobile Device
Riley Cooper? Cmon Boik we got two guys like that on the team now! I want a 6"3 chiseled WR who runs a 4.3.....is that too much to ask!
its weird but even though i see gilyard as a playmaker i dont see him as a number 1 type. He and Golden Tate are excellent number two prospects but I dont see either as the elite number 1 type. I see one definite number one prsopect in Dez Bryant and several potential number ones who may bust or breakout (who knows) in Danario Alexander, Demaryius Thomas and Arrelius Benn. All of the three could become a number one, bust or turn into possession receivers lol. Dez Bryant however seems destined for greatness to me in fact thats the thing with this draft as opposed to next years. next year you will get tons of number one prospects coming out whereas this year seems pretty loaded with number two type prospects
I pretty much agree too AP. I'm not sure Gilyard is definite #2 material. IMO he needs to go to a spread team to be most effective. I've said his name a bunch, but I think Taylor Price could be a dark horse future #1. Damien Williams IMO has #1 potential. The kid from Tulane is probably one of the strongest "near can't miss" prospects if a team needs a solid #2. He'd be one of my preferences if we didn't have Hart.
I don't see Demaryius Thomas as a #1. He looks uncoordinated catching at times and is basically like a rebounder split wide. Not much route running there. Posted via Mobile Device
I watch Cooper and I can't help but think he has been severely underused during his time at UF. The player you are looking for sadly only exists on Madden. Briscoe and Cooper may be as close as you otherwise without getting in to a player with off the field issues.
zero route running although he showed a decent double move today on a route down the sideline. He's a huge risk but if he works out you'll have that big body type of receiver that you can play jump ball with. physically he's absolutely what you want but he has the furthest to go in terms of study
This is what I meant when I said "1st round" is an understatement. That kid is competitive at an NFL level right NOW, as a college sophomore.
These #1 and #2 theories are ridiculous imo.. I mean, the same people said the same thing about DeSean Jackson and he is breaking records for most 50 yard+ TD's in a season by a WR. He's killing it out there. The dude is a #1.. Forget size and all the other baloney some people associate with a #1.. I remember people saying the same thing about Reggie Wayne, that he wasn't #1.. BS. I heard the same baloney about Steve Smith.. and on and on and on it goes. Hines Ward was seen as a #2/3 when he was drafted in the 3rd round.. Well guess what, he has become a 3-time ALL-PRO and is a total badA$$.. The Steelers have a history of great WR's like Lynn Swann and John Stallworth etc... Swann was seen as a "sure-fire" #1 franchise WR when he was drafted in the 1st round.. Well guess what, they didn't achieve the numbers that our #2/#3 WR did, with Ward eclipsing 10,000 career yards.. Our #1 WR Lynn Swann has barely half that. Look at all those #1 types, or what people "thought" they were as sure-fire numbers one's coming out of college, who were early picks and then busted.. They weren't even #2 or #3's after a couple of years. Who cares about pegging them, it's just silly.. if they can play well they can play well.... Period.
I got you an under the radar sophomore... Trust me...this guy is gonna be a GREAT PRO....will be right there with Baldwin. get ready for an explosion in his Junior Year. Jacory just has TOO many WR's to throw too.
