Dipping your pen in the company ink, is just not a wise thing. Besides, this woman has bugs in her head. She's fantasizing about buggering her son!

    I have the perfect answer.......

Step 1) Take her by the hand
Step 2) Look deeply in her eyes
Step 3) Say, "thats cool, I have always wanted to F*** my Mom"
Step 4) if she is still holding your hand, continue with "Can I invite my older friend over to watch, he can pretend he is Dad, and come home to catch us?"
Step 5) if she is still holding your hand....let go!

No, but some people do act on that feeling.

You don't always end up with a hole in your head when you play a game of Russian roulette either, but because of the seriousness of the situation, most folks choose to not even get involved in the game. And that's how it should be here IMO, the woman obviously has alot of issues and doesn't need someone validating them for her. This guy doesn't know what she's capable of, she could be a harmless perv or one that will end up diddling little kids, better to not even get involved on the off-chance that she could do more than just "pretend".

you are trying to make it black and white. A guy wanting to **** a rabbit for one is not as bad as a guy lets say fantasizing about a 12 year old girl. Second Im pretty sure pedophiles and rapists fantasize.about doing their acts. the difference is when you start indulging well thats when it crosses the line. shes trying to indulge. Thats bad news.

This woman isnt trying to live out a fantasy of her son as a kid. According to the OP, her son is a grown man. I get the feeling that the son and the OP are around 20 to 23 years old.

The most delicate aspect of mother and son relationship comes, when another woman enters into his life, either as a girlfriend or as a wife. This is the time, when almost every mother starts feeling insecure and becomes apprehensive. From being the only woman in her son's life, she has to share the affection with someone, who is as important in her son's life as she is. This is the time for the son to make his mother understand that she has and will always be the most special person in his life and that someone else can never take her place. On the other hand, a mother should also understand that she has to stop holding on to her son all the time and let go of him. Perhaps this lady just learned that her son recently started a serious relationship with a woman and this is her method of coping with the 'loss' of her son? Perfectly natural in a twisted, Kentucky, sort of way.

no but if you truly fantasize (in the extreme we're talking here) about killing someone you should probably see a therapist...

if you're saying fantasizing is completely normal then I guess farmer Joe-Bob that wants to do his goats is ok too right?

On what planet does that make it better. Fantasizing about ****ing your child is wrong, regardless of the age your fantasizing about. It isn't a thought that popped in her head, this is something that she is actively trying to satisfy.

This isn't a typical fetish, it is the sign of something deeper and horrible. The line between caring about someone and wanting to **** them to show how much you care has been blurred for her. Sex is hardly worth putting yourself smack dab in the middle of that insanity.

Fantasizing and pretending is not the same as indulging in an act. Fantasizing and pretending do not mean your going to do the act, or even really want to do the act in reality. It means that you want your fantasy. It doesn’t matter how heinous the act is. If this wasn’t the case, good-bye to movies, video games, books, TV etc… As a society we fantasize about some pretty horrible stuff for entertainment. I have killed thousands in video games, made to be as realistic as technology will allow. I have yet to shoot someone in the head, even if they really, really deserved it. (Like can’t merge in rush hour deserve)

If you don’t like that sort of sexual role-playing, fine. The idea that it’s a few steps from molesting a child, or rapping some one is silly.

its not silly at all. again its about indulging. rapists and serial killers indulge till its not enough and then they commit the act when its not enough.
yes you can control your fantasies but when you indulge you start to cross the line. Very famous scene in taxi driver. de niro takes out a gun looks in the mirror and starts to fantasize. contrary to most people its not just an awesome line it is also a point where the character starts to go over the deep end.
im not saying there is anything wrong with fantasy, or even role playing. but there certainly are things you should not go near. ****ing family, animals, rape, torture, etc. are certainly those things. its a bit silly to try to lump all that into oh shes dressed up like a maid or oh i like to think how would life be if i was a soldier.

Not really. Watching a movie or playing a video game are passive events. To muster up the courage to tell another human being you want to **** your son, with the explicit intent that person will be the avatar for said fetish is far from passive.

Further if you play a violent video game because you fantasize about killing people in real life you aren't far from this woman, but you are far from the accepted norm.

Someone looking at kiddie porn could try to use the same defense, they're just looking and don't intend to do anything. I'm not sure the cops are going to buy that explanation.

With this woman, her intent is to act on it in some form, that's why she shared her fantasy with the OP. It's unusual for someone to share that type of thing with someone they hardly know, but she did and she told him that it was "always a fantasy" of hers, implying that she's been thinking about this for a while. If the OP is in his early 20's, it's not out of the realm of possibility to assume that she started having those feelings when her son was in his teens. That shows that she may have an interest in having sex with someone who is a minor (not necessarily her son), certainly enough to raise alarm bells. And if she's like most people who have addictions or fetishes, they don't stop once they fulfill their desire, they take it a step further and who knows what that means in this woman's case? Better to leave it alone IMO.

Having role-played masked rapist I say BS. I would never do anything like that in reality. Fantasy removes the negative aspects of the reality of it. If your GF dress up like a maid and you pretend to be staying in a hotel, she doesn't really have a minimum wage job with no benefits. She isn't really being sexually harassed. You aren't really having unprotected sex with a stranger. You don’t really have to pay for your room. I didn’t really force some to have sex against their will. In an incest fantasy (which I haven’t done as it is not my bag) you aren’t really related. You aren’t inflicting emotional scars on a loved one for your own incredibly selfish reasons. You won’t have a mutant baby. Etc…

There are people that do have issues. I am not saying that there are no people with problems differentiating fantasy from reality; I am saying that most people can, and I haven’t seen any posts that make me believe this woman cannot. There is a reason crazy poeple are called crazy.

again you're trying to compare unsimilar situations, you are pretending with a willing woman, so no its not even close to a rape. Now if you sat there and watched snuff films, etc, then yes you are indulging. As for the maid comparison very unsimilar. and again you are missing the point. one shes crazy because she sought out someone. two shes crazy because she sought out someone to induldge in her fantasy based on his age and i would assume somewhat body appearance, three after what seems like the relationship changing for a day she shared her fantasy with him. the evidence is there that she is crazy. the evidence is there she is really trying to indulge.

Bad logic there. A child was abused in reality. I cannot believe that you don't see the difference.

The bolded is made up. Link?

Also, unless she has acted on her sexualized feelings for her son, that's kind of her business. Well, and ours now.

Seriously if you take this approach then a person's actions, no matter how extreme, can never be used to anticipate their future actions. Following your logic there is no such thing as warning signs.

Ok fine, is her desire to bang her son real or not? It is not acceptable or healthy to have those feelings, regardless if she acts on them with her kid or not.

    3 ways to go:

    - Keep the feelings to yourself
    - Act on those feelings with a substitute
    - Act on those feelings with the son

Sure 2 isn't as bad as 3, but its still pretty bad, and that's because an adjusted and balanced person never even deals with that list. That's the problem...the feelings.

Not true at all. What is the most common "warning sign" that you hear about sieral killers. It's that they torture animals as a child. Not that they prented to torture their stuffed animals, or their sisters barbies...

And pedophiles generally try to satisfy their urges without children first. Let's be honest, the majority of people who **** children are people who fantasize about ****ing children. At some point fantasy turns into reality. The fantasy is the warning sign.
