Ted Ginn, btw, does not belong in the NFL, imo. He is the most fearful NFL player I've seen in years. When he dropped that punt, he was moving away from the tackler to avoid the hit; he was more concerned with the tackler than he was with the football.
True. But if we do reduce his carries, who do we go to? Hilliard hasnt looked great in his few opportunities the last few weeks, Maybe sheets? I'll guess Hilliard... but its interesting for sure. Nobody thats a proven runner behind Ricky. Be interesting to see who steps up.
Ya know... regardless of what happens today in this game, you have to be excited to be a phins fan with the direction we're going. A young, growing secondary, a blossoming QB, pretty solid OL, its falling into place. Were going to be a much better team next year for sure. That being said, I still wanna kick some Titans *** today
...and he's right. You're wrong. I don't care about 1,000 yards over the course of a season. I care more about 4 fumbles in 5 quarters (all in opponent territory after GREAT drives) in the deep end of a playoff race. Ricky Williams is putting points on the ground for this team. He better get us 6 on this next drive.
He wasn't moving away at all, he took his eyes off the ball to see where the defender was and dropped it. Happens all the time, quit making it a bigger issue. He is not the only person to muff a punt doing the exact same thing.
We had a guy let a ball go 3 inches over his head without putting his arm up to give up a TD, a guy who killed a scoring drive with a fumble, yet this is what u want to talk about?
WEll, we just have to see how RW responds, his fumbles are coming in bunches and we cannot win like that, we barely survived that drive. Sharpen up RickyW
Pass defense, too. Still think he'll be good (maybe great) in the future. He hit that rookie wall pretty fast.
