What? I didn't say anything negative, just posting a site with odds. They have a whole bunch of leagues on there too.
Those odds look pretty sketchy to me. 8.5% increase if the Ravens lose to Steelers next week? Regardless, it's impossible to quantify playoff scenarios into odds so this doesn't matter at all.
I know you are new around here. But please look around before you post. This guy is a respected Bills fan in our community. He isn't trolling, he isn't bashing. He is posting link with info. This website is different from others, we don't bash people just because they root for guys who wear different colored jerseys (even if the poor basterd is a bills fan )
I'm sorry guys, we can what if this thing to death but really: [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a3xsDv6yCnY"]YouTube- Don Meridith Turn Out The Lights[/ame] How about lets just enjoy the rest of the season and see if Henne can cut down on some of those INTS.
Win our remaining two and we have a 56.3% chance of making playoffs......at this point, who could ask for anything more.....
NFL article http://www.nfl.com/news/story?id=09000d5d81523641&template=with-video-with-comments&confirm=true Miami Dolphins (7-7, tied for second in East): No team has a more intriguing road, although the final two games are in South Florida. Houston and Pittsburgh, respectively, will either push Miami out of the playoffs or will be cast out of the 7-7 mix by a Dolphins team that has re-invented itself at quarterback and tailback. Conference mark: 5-5. Houston Texans (7-7, tied for second in South): If there was ever a time for Matt Schaub to post a defining snapshot, this is it. The Texans face Miami and New England. Victories over both would still leave the team with six conference losses, which ultimately could be the downfall of both Houston and coach Gary Kubiak. Steelers (7-7, third in North): Well, well, well. The defending champs might want to play ball after all. Beating Baltimore at home is a must, but so is holding off Miami in Florida. Pittsburgh could have safety Troy Polamalu back to provide inspiration and on-field production. Their 4-6 conference mark isn't going to help in tiebreakers. 5. Baltimore Ravens (8-6, second in North): The Ravens might be the team that emerges from this glut of wild-card hopefuls but it will have to win in Pittsburgh next week, which won't be easy. Neither will the finale at Oakland; the Raiders have been successfully playing the role of spoiler for weeks. Should the Ravens fight their way in, they could be that "hot" team no one wants to play in the playoffs, like they were last year when they entered as a wild card. Jacksonville Jaguars (7-7, tied for second in South): The good news for the Jaguars is that they sit in pretty good position with the best conference mark (6-4) among the 7-7 hopefuls. The bad news: Their final two games are on the road. Jacksonville has only won twice away from home and both remaining games will be played in un-Florida-like climates (New England and Cleveland).
Nice, great post BDH. Quitely the Browns have become a much improved team, dropping Rex Hadnot from the lineup and replacing him with Porkchop Womack and adding Matt Roth has been a boon to that team.
Maybe I am reading this wrong. However, how can you be down if the number went up? "down 11.1 % to 12.4%"
The fact we had the worst schedule comming into the season, lost our starting qb in week 3, lost our starting RB, lost our starting CB, several oline injuries, a first year starting qb, lost a close game in OT this week, came as close as anyone to beating the previous 2 undefeated teams in the league, split with the patsies, swept the jets I would have to say having a 11% chance of making the playoffs with 2 games remaining is something to be very proud of this team. They don't quit, as tough as some of the losses have been i've been extremely proud of this team and they have shown a lot of fight. This team wants to win. In any way shape or form. Our future looks bright and once again for the second season in a row is heading in the right direction. We have lots of young talent on the roster and should continue to add more in upcomming drafts. Were not done yet, sure we need some help and need to win our last 2 games but the fact we have important games to play for and watch in week 15 and 16 is something we all should value right now, given the afformentioned circumstances.
