    It doesn't look quite as bad as I thought it was going to be. Not a pure remake but "another take." But let me ask one thing: Why is a "Karate" movie taking place in China with a style that is not Karate? They should call it the Kung Fu Kid. Sexy name.

    It has funny homages to the original movie though.

    When not filtered through the perspective of nostalgia I bet this one will be better than the original.

    They should have called it something different, but cashing in on the franchise is easier than being original.

    If its Jackie Chan, there is a good chance the "OUT TAKES" will surpass the movie. Always do.

    :yes: (I love his outtakes...whenever they announce his involvement in a film, I know those will be a hoot!)

    The fly swatter thing did make me laugh but I won't be seeing this movie unless it's on HBO or something like that. I admit it doesn't look as cheesy as I thought it would but I still don't think this is a good idea to remake it.

    I think it looks pretty good. I'm a big fan of the original, but I will definitely see this one.
