Ah, we have a lot of glaring needs... should make for a fun off season that would semi-cure all of this with at least some optimism.

I thought Wilson improved as the season wore on, then got worse, then improved again.

I wonder what Omar Epps is going to do now that House has finished filming and the Steelers are out of the playoffs...

So because people don't go to games they are not real fans?????

Please get off your high horse, you have no idea what peoples situations are at home.

I'm glad you go to all the games, but stop the real fan crap.

I think alot of our pass blocking schemes were based upon Vernon Carey's knee injury.

The number of injuries mounted on this team told me that the season could not end too soon.

When people were wanting Hillard to play early in the season, Sparano mentioned his poor pass blocking as the reason.

Well, we now saw it, but we really had no choice with Brown out and ricky banged up.

Fasano is usually a good blocker, but he was awful yesterday.

I don't mean every game of course. But they're not selling out every game the past few years at the Ralph.

Our stadium might not always be full, but the games are still sold out without the local CBS affiliate having to purchase the remaining games. I know there have been some close calls lately though. And it sucks that our stadium is probably about 10K too big.

There are only a few places that are immune IMO. The huge markets like New York and Chicago.

Here in Tampa, they love to brag about their support of the Bucs and the 65,000 person waiting list for season tickets. This year they've had 25,000 empty seats at games. And their stadium only seats about 64K.

Winning makes things a lot better.

    Winning and a better economy.

I know I had to give up things I love to do (like skiing with the family over New years break).

You can't blame people for not buying tickets if it takes away food from the table. You also can't blame them for selling them on stubhub if it puts food on the table.

Last week the Steelers home game had just as many empty seats as our home games.

Fact is that most teams that were "out of it" had terrible home crowds. The joke yesterday was "Every team in the AFC has to lose for Miami to make the playoffs." This team simply had no chance for the playoffs going into yesterday. Now you throw in the snowbirds planning a vacation in South Florida since the first day tickets were sold and you had every reason to believe that this was going to be a Steelers "home game". There is nothing shocking about it.

I want to go to the Green Bay/Miami game next year. Lambeau Field has been on the "bucket list" for far too long.

How do you not have LB higher on this list. To me, our most glaring need. Even before we get a #1 WR. We have put up points with the WRs we have. We desperately need help on the "D".

Yeah, a play making LB has to be 1A or 1B on any list.

Akin is gone, Torbor is gone, either Porter or Taylor is gone.

As Boomer said Carpenter is an option because he does a good job on coverage, but we need a play maker at LB

I agree we need a true # 1 WR, but as you said, we did put up points this year.
