I've forgotten how to deal with it....help! No more Dolphins football until September. 8 long months. I'm excited for 2010 but it is going to be long. I'll be watching some of the games hoping the Saints win the super bowl and the Jets/Pats lose, but even after that you've got 7 months. How will you deal with it? It seems like the season just started and it's over. At least the Olympics are soon.
This place helps A LOT. There is always something to debate with fellow Dolphins fans even when there is no news. Free agency, schedule, the draft all keep the conversations flowing through the offseason. Honestly, I don't know how I got through the offseason before this place.
Well yeah in the offseason there is always free agency and the draft to talk about. I too will miss the games though, but I will spend time in the forum to pass the time talking about the Fins. Im also going to try to get more in to the basketball season this year,I hope my team can win another championship this year. I am still excited about this offseason for the Fins.
my sundays will be dedicated to working out staying in shape the house needs some work new kitchen floor
We've got conference college basketball starting up, then there's march madness, then the NFL draft, then hockey playoffs.
All true. Last offseason was pretty easy, being division champions we at least had that to boast about and hold over everyone. Now we're 7-9, mediocre once again, and even though he have a bright future- we wont actually see if that is true until september. I think we'll get some excitement if we land a big player at WR and some solid ones on D.
Feburary I believe, but we might be picking teams before that... Just keep an eye on that Forum. And just so you know it takes a lot of time and effort. You can't just do it half-heartedly, you need to go all out but it is loads of fun and kept me entertained most of the offseason.
Plenty of stuff to do. Summer fun! Basball, Free Agency, the Draft, and women. The trick is not to lock yourself down to just one,
Thanks to this Forum, along with a greater emphasis placed on offseason reporting, the invigorating source of news and heresay, now extends much farther into the offseason than it once did, and if all else fails, you can expect at least one more summer of endless Ronnie vs Ricky threads.
This is going to be a great offseason. We know what to address, and we can expect this staff to fill the voids. Ill be watching the bargaining, and the cap situation. I also hope we get Ronnie, and Ricky back.
It's even going to be tougher next weekend, because I think the Jets will walk all over the Bengals again. And I live in Jet area (Giant too, but the died a horrible death)
Honestly, I enjoy the off season as much as the season. There's really only 1 month between mini camps and TC that is dead. The rest of the time there's a ton to talk about.
I think I'm just going to enjoy having 4 hours of the week back. Then when I start to get that football craving again, I'll just flip on madden and try and convince myself that's the real thing until the combine/draft/preseason.
I'll watch the playoffs, SB and PB. Then, I'll start putting together Phinvader events for next season. As for withdrawal, it hasn't set in yet. I still have a bad season hangover.
Here's one thing to help: Tonight on WQAM from 6-7pm is the Ricky Williams show and from 7-8 is the Ronnie Brown show. Listen online like I do for people who don't live in South Florida. This is the 1st Ricky Williams show, Ronnie's been doing it all season. I think they'll be continuing it more than just this week, but i'm not sure. The Ricky show should be interesting, as we know he doesn't like talking to the media and their dumb obvious questions on the spot, so it will be nice to see what he says when he wants to talk.
