I'm going to have to respectfully disagree with you on Henne.
Quite honestly, I'm not sure what you're talking about. I think Henne was one of the guys that did show leadership in the 3 game meltdown at the end of the season.
He got us back into the games against Tennessee and Houston in the 2nd half after the defense no showed in th first half in both games.
I think we forget that Henne is only in his 2nd season, and 1st as a starter.
    Let's cut him some slack.

I could name a ton of great quarterbacks who weren't considered fiery... look at Joe Montana... He was nicknamed Joe Cool. He was not an in your face guy. You all remember the story of him in that Super Bowl vs the Bengals. With a few minutes left in the game and the 49ers needing a TD to win, Joe walks into the huddle to start the game winning TD drive and says to one of his teammates, "hey, is that John Candy sitting over there?"

Why would we get rid of Ronnie Brown that would just be plain stupid. Sure our offenses did ok without him but we could be one of the best in the league next year with him. Plus if give brown away for a 2nd or a 3rd we would just have to waste a pick to get another runningback. Ronnie Brown is the one back in the leagye that can run the wildcat and we want to get rid of him? The wildcat was a BIG part of out offense before he went down.

This talk of trading an underachieving or injury prone Ronnie Brown every year really troubles me. I can still remember our running back struggles prior to RW and after RW left. Ronnie Brown may not be the best or even one of the better running backs in the league but he is certainly better than a whole lot of running backs we have had over the years including some pretty high draft picks. In spite of what some people say, running backs are not a dime a dozen and definitely don't grow on trees. We could do a whole lot worse as we have shown in the past. If we are going to try to replace RB lets get the replacement first and let him prove he is worthy of the task.

If JT should go, I would be heart broken.
No lectures please, I'm just stating how I would feel.

I also love Ronnie, Ricky and a lot of others and would hate to see any of them go, but JT, that's another thing for me.

Ronnie can not help you from the sideline. He has only played 1 full season in his career, and that is a fact not an opinion.
With a great run blocking offensive line we can find a younger and hopefully more durable replacement for ronnie in the draft.

    100% agree.

He was by no means at any fault for his Defense coming out so awful in the 1st half the past 3 weeks.

I can't wait till next year, when he has a whole offseason (OTAs, minicamp, and TC) as the starting QB under his belt. I'll try my hardest not to get my hopes up and set my expectations too high, but damn it's gonna be hard

With no new CBA, Ronnie is NOT a FA. He is under contract for this coming season.

Hmmm, a Getrdone and a Mr Paul who likes boxing. Sounds like a couple of Herald posters, although the boxing should be of the female persuasion. :)

As someone that loves to play Madden........THIS IS NOT MADDEN! Heck, even it is not that dumb to trade picks that high anymore.

I'm also amazed that he did not mention trading Ricky.
