Well, we need to buy more groceries or go to a few other stores and get more merchandise.

I'm patient, but it feels like a let down sometimes, i just hope this year they get aggressive.

i expected a step back this season
doesnt at all mean that i dont agree
the defense left me lost at times even with those kids out on the island
we should have been better in that area
the veterans on the d side didnt really step up (porter taylor bell crowder)
either way it takes longer to recover from 1-15 than most think
especially with the qb situation in the last decade
i think we are on the right track
    glaring needs obviously
give it a little more time
i like our chances in the war room with parcells and ireland

I did read the whole post. I see Tuna, Ireland, and Sparano as a team who together has acquired the best talent via draft, FA, and trade of any team in the NFL over the past two years.

I see you as being dis-satisfied with the results, and could not disagree more.

I mentioned going back to the way it was before them because that was the time to be unhappy, and look for change. THIS IS NOT. JMO

You have read what you want to. I want to stream line the decision process so we don't have two executives wanting there own person drafted or signed. I want Jeff to stay, and Tony. We are not going backwards like you keep on implying. The whole idea is to move forward. I want the results to be better then they have been if you look through the thread you will see that. There is room for improvement.

with all due respect cali i didnt see where madmatt implied we are going backwards

i understand your take in this thread you seem to have a fear of jeff and bill canceling each other out
that isnt happening it just takes time to build a football team
we are better off having both of them throw ideas off each other

one thing though i think behind the scene ireland just might be a little frustrated with it all
having dad always looking over his shoulder :wink2:

No problem brother.:hi5: He is saying that I am implying that I want to go back to what it was without Parcells, Ireland and Sparano by getting rid of Parcells. I am just asking to have one person calling the player personnel moves.

    I'm concerned as well..

I do see improvement and us heading in a much better direction...but that direction could be us becoming an above average team that comes up a little short, rather than reaching the SB........ if they continue to make a few very poor decisions here and there.

But it's hard to see who is really pulling the strings. You hear rumors that this guy was a Parcells pick or that guy was all Ireland...but we really just don't know for sure, just how heavy Parcells' hand is in personnel decisions.

The best we can do is speculate and because of that, it's hard to lay blame on anyone or take a chance on getting rid of the wrong guy.

I'm just hoping the FO evaluates themselves as well this off season, makes some corrections and hits a home run this off season.

Very nice post brother!:hi5: That is what I am trying to express, and maybe not the best way is front office management. We have to get better with our players, coaches, and our executives making the ultimate choices.:wink2:

we have the best FrontOffice in the NFL
    hands down!
they work collectively & from a blueprint
    & established philosophy of football
no doubt, the BigTuna holds the ultimate veto
in any given situation & that's how it should be
what I see is minimal direct interference from Parcells
he has judiciously delegated power throughout the organization
without giving up the reigns of control totally

    Cali,

I think we need a translator here. LOL Let me try.

You're saying that we are better off without Tuna being involved in acquiring talent, and we will be improved without him.

I am saying that we acquired better talent than anyone else in the past two years WITH him and see no reason to change. If it ain't broke, DON'T fix it.

You seem to be taking this personally, when all it is is a disagreement on what we feel is best for our team. Is disagreeing with a fellow fan against the intent of the forum?

If so, I AM GUILTY, and perhaps should stop posting here.

That is NOT what I said or is NOT what you implied. I am saying that without Tuna, it could well be back to what it was.

    My Friend,

I have no problem with anyone here, other than Donkey, for any reason. I disagree with some opinions, and post what I think. Disagreements, and debates are, in part, what forums are for.

Hell, I disagree with my wife but, am smart enough to KEEP MY MOUTH SHUT when it becomes a debate. NO INTEREST in doing the same here. LOL

    Here's what I think...

The Tuna has built championship caliber teams in the past....no scratch that...

The Tuna has built championship teams everywhere he has been. Maybe his input might be keeping these guys from making monumental mistakes. Second year head coach and second year GM. I'm thinking the forty years as a coach is probably a plus not a minus. Let the Tuna do what he do, build us a championship caliber team in Miami.

Don't let this year's outcome bring you down. If we can see what needs to be changed, you know they can see it.

I have a problem in agreeing with anyone who actually "chose" your name. LOL. However, in this case, I must agree. I am thrilled to death with the talent we have brought in over the last two seasons.

Someone asked Mort if Tuna was out of it. He replied not quite, he can give you an accurate run down of any Div 2 player, and what he can do.

Yeah, let's get rid of Tuna. We can do much better. LOL

It is the tone and style in which you choose to post. Members of the family disagree with me a lot and that is fine, but the way you come across is the part that I disagree with.
