    Well, Smith had that big one to Aiken (even though the coverage was tight), and Davis was burnt long a few times also.

    Bell and Wilson were toasted often, I remember Shockey going long with Wilson trying to tackle him and being brushed off like a fly.

    We just can't defend the overall pass play of the "D". They were horrible.

    little pass rush and rookie corners will do that to you. I think everyone expected the pass rush to cover up the rookies a bit, but that never seemed to happen.

    Yeah, the pass rush was very inconsistent. There were times - mostly in the second half of games - it was non-existent. That puts a serious burden on your DB's.

    How is that on our front 7? Are they dropping back to cover TE's now? Most of our secondary problems are on Safeties and starting two rookie cb's

    Our linebackers were getting beaten like rented mules in pass coverage by tight ends on short/intermediate routes over the middle. Then the safeties had trouble tackling those big TEs.
