So what does he do, hand out folded contract extensions on napkins and hand them out to players at practices and bet on horses in Tampa?? The guy is invovled...
I don't think anyone is saying he isn't involved. He's involved but doesn't make the final decisions.
Right - the extended half time show has done for me. I have to be up in 3 hours. I enjoyed this, thanks guys. Enjoy the 2nd half. S
Interesting.....its tough up here in RI getting Miami FO insight you know?...I research all the Fla newspaper and blogs for stuff like that....who is pulling strings FO-wise because God knows it Pats-ville up here.....This is great though love the insight guys, keep it coming....Miami has the National media confused apparently, everytime you hear of something FO related, it's the Tuna....
hey boomer what did yuou think of Jerral Jernigan last night. thought he came across as a helluva slot receiver prospect
Think I'm gonna bail on y'all too. Past my bedtime already. Yo finyank13...welcome to the site brother. Good to have another Phins fan aboard.
Absolutely brother I bailed on finheaven cuz they are warped over there, this site is classic...good deal....dont dream too hard of McClain he'll hit ya lol....
I am really impressed with McClain, not so much with the highly touted Earl Thomas. He's been caught out of position, afraid to take on Ingram (not that I blame him ) and he's given up on a few plays tonite. Very timid-looking. Alabama's D-line is ballin'. Then again, you should be playing against a freshman backup QB.
Yeah, McClain's had a pretty nice showing tonight. I've been impressed with everything but his blitzing - seems pretty limited in that regard, but I'd love to have him with the 12th pick!
Now it gets interesting...two possible PI calls passed up by the officials. They are letting 'em play tonite- not too many penalties called overall.
Wish I could say I were a die-hard Tide fan, but I'm not. I respect the program a lot - you can't help not to they've been so good over time - and really like several players: McClain, Ingram, Dareus, Arenas, etc. but truth be told I'm an Ohio State fan. In a weird twist though, I'm one of the very few who doesn't really like Jim Tressel that much, and I can't stand 99.9% of OSU fans myself.
When they call some one a true freshman, what does it mean? And the 2 pass interference calls that weren't called against al sucked.
It's their very first year at the school. They haven't been redshirted for injury, academics or otherwise.
Just started watching this game but it's being recorded. How have the guys looked on both teams? I'm looking forward to watching this.
McClain has looked solid - a bit sluggish when he blitzes though. Marcel Dareus for 'Bama has had a big game - knocked McCoy out and picked off a shovel pass and took it to the house. Ingram and Richardson looked good in the first half but Texas' has stepped it up. Earl Thomas is his normal self - he had 1 poor effort on a tackle, but I've become a fan. Nate Newton's boy has impressed me a little running the ball for Texas, but just about everyone on 'Bama's D-line has played well. Cody hasn't played much due to the spread. Muckelroy's played decently well, even Kindle's added a pair of sacks though IMO that's more due to Muschamp's scheme and excellent coverage downfield. Julio Jones and the entire Bama passing game have been quiet.
Nice! Huge Earl Thomas fan here. He's so good IMO. Seeing Cody miss snaps doesn't surprise me, as it seems like it happens more and more the last two years. I heard about McCoy being out, that's going to be interesting if there's any damage. I saw some posts here that said Sergio Kindle has looked good tonight? Is that true? If so, it's about time IMO.
TX has finally clawed their way back into the game, Shipley with the TD. Sergio Kindle has looked quick, but lacks sand in his bucket Alen.
Yeah, Kindle did have one blitz where he was untouched - late 3rd or early 4th, cant remember for sure. The other one he was matching Peek at the line and McElroy didn't see him and he got him, but it was a coverage sack. He's played alright - par for the course I'd say.
Sounds interesting. Thanks for the info guys, I'm looking forward to watching this game this weekend but right now, I've got to get to bed lol. School is kicking my rear with all these projects and homework. Have a good one!
Man, this would be some comeback if Texas actually pulls this off. Say what you want about Jordan Shipley, but I've never seen him drop a pass. I'd take a mid-late round flier on him if we didn't already have Brian Hartline.
