Others may be added remember, the pro bowl is before the super bowl, so anyone playing in the super bowl will need to drop out. Example: If the Vikings make it, 9 alternates will be added to cover for the 9 Vikings.
If that isn't the worst piece of journalism, I dont' know what is. He pulled out because of a "so called injury" because he doesn't want to play in his home field with other "Pro Bowlers?" I seriously doubt it has ANYTHING to do with where it is being played. Unbelievable!
Huh, well i guess its good cause he wont get hurt but now i have no reason to watch if there are no dolphins playing.
He already went last year, had the experience, and now doesn't feel like playing. I don't blame him. Robert Smith was 790 last night talking about the Pro Bowl and said after the first couple, guys lose interest and don't want to risk injury.
I think it would be hard for him to be in that PRE-SUPERBOWL environment, hearing all about the Superbowl and people all asking him what happened to the Dolphins. I'm sure he is injured, and all those O-linemen play through injuries. If it were his first Pro Bowl he might have played anyways, I guess. The only shame of it is that he is the only Dolphin who would have started in the Pro Bowl and represented our franchise, I think?
I wonder if Jake as a Probowl incentive in his contract? If so I wonder if you actually have to play in the game to recieve it. I'm assuming no.
