I don't think you're crazy. Imagine what having a legitimate WR would do for this team.

Simple reason why Brandon Marshall will not be a Dolphin:

There is no chance in hell Ireland or Parcell's gives up a #1 and a #3 for a Wr when we have the 12th pick and the 74th in the draft

We don't need him. He's a very selfish player. Don't need that.

People out here in Denver don't even want him to be a Bronco.

I dont care what that blogger thinks, fact is, how many top 4 position players in QB/RB/WR ever become available via FA...it is very very rare.....something that could happen whereas I see Denver tagging Dumerviel (sp), making BM expendable......I would give the pick/s up for him anyday.....and big money, again top 4 position players in the above mentioned DEMAND big money....thats life....spend the money, trade the picks, and enjoy the Henne (25) to BM (26) connection for years to come.....

We dont need a superstar stud WR?? I dont care about his head, Sparano will control him, how does BB control Moss?? Pretty Pretty well.....I want my WR to have a crazy streak, he has to going over the middle in today's NFL....

nah we need defensive help way too badly to give up a first and a third for brandon marshall
i would love to have his talent but i would bet even without the baggage parcells and ireland would never pull the trigger on that deal

Josh McDaniels is like a kid who inherited a ton of talent and is petering it away for first round picks, that will be his price as it was his price in the past.

I'd prefer to take a shot at Boldin, Bryant (who is obtainable) or mayb e even Chris Chambers if he signs for a hometown discount.

"If" lower his trade value means a #3 pick, or maybe a #4 along with Ted Ginn, I'd make that deal in .003 seconds

    Let me ask you this:
Would you rather have Dez and Dansby (or your favorite FA Linebacker)
    Or
    Boldin and McClain?

Boldin and Mcclain. They would have a bigger immediate impact, but they will also cost more.

Why does everybody want boldin. This guy is hurt every year and he might not even play sunday because he is hurt again. We already have a player like this and his name is ronnie brown.

the last thing this offense needs is another injury prone player

Because he plays hurt and still contributes, the problem with him was the asking price, last preseason there were talks of Ronnie Brown for Anquan Boldin straight up.

Now, with a discount, he becomes more attractive and we keep Ronnie B as well.

    There's a reason he's available. A very big one.

No thank you. Way too big of a risk when there are other options.

Yup, I would love Boldin in Miami. Yeah he's hurt a lot but he's tough and I would much rather take a risk on someone getting hurt than someone getting suspended, or ending up in jail.

We have to many injury prone guys already on this team brown, smiley, grove,we do not need another one.Don't get me wrong he is a great player but you can not waste draft picks on a guy sitting on the sideline with a baseball cap on.

I'm not disagreeing with you, but all these people want Brandon Marshall who might end up suspended or like I said, in jail. He's very talented but is a very selfish person and I don't trust him at all. I'll take the injury risk over Marshall's every day of the week. Especially because Marshall's risk could cause issues in the locker room and in the media.

Both players are a huge risk so how about we just draft somebody like dez bryant.

I would rather draft a linebacker at 12. Much bigger need IMO (but that's for another thread).

Well, we would still have our 2nd round pick, hell why not? Just pick up a few players in FA.

"just saying want us to be agressive"

Just hope we sign a few playmakers in FA this year and not wake up to see we signed Berger..:lol:He is good depth, but come on we need a playmaker, so use the 1st and 3rd for Marshall, then we dont have to worry about WR for awhile.

That's true! And a possibility but i doubt it!

We might try to sign a playmaking wr in free agency and draft other playmakers in the draft! We still have too many holes to fill (wr, te, nt, ilb, olb and maybe both safety spots)!

Don't want him for a 1st and a 3rd but I have a feeling the way his season ended and the falling out with McDaniels and all. I don't think they will tender him for a 1st and 3rd for fear of getting stuck with him...but they might do it for a 1st which would pretty much guarantee someone would take him. I think I would jump on the deal and take my chances for a first alone just because a #1 like him would really turn this offense around.
