Of course Palmer and Trent Green were victims of that hit/injury and nothing happened, but when Tom Brady gets hit we got to change the rules.
repsectfully diagree about the jesters. they are one dimensional on offense. they have a average run game with a below average pass game. the on ly reason sanchez is looking good today is because cincy has sold out to stop the run and has gotten burned on a couple of play action and misdeirection plays defensively you need a runningback who's a threat to pick up yards after the catch to offset their blitzing tendencies. they can have trouble against good running teams and have a few holes in the secondary. I think the Jets would get blown out in the next round if they can get by the bengals. if the bengals adjust their defensive scheme in the second half to play the jesters a bit more honestly rather than selling out to stop the run, then i think the bengals will pull this one out
my bad, they havent won one in 19 years....carsons got the demons huh?..my goodness, what a bad for half for those two. gives me hope for ginn..he beat that cat more then once, I hope he's watchin.
Keep in mind about the Jest...they are a veteran team with a bunch of players still in their primes, and a rookie Qb. Cinci still should win this game simply because they are also a veteran team with good players, still in their prime, and at home.
I'm not so sure about getting blown out unless they meet the Pats or Chargers then I agree. Indy the Jets can beat although they should not be favored. I am arguing that with the right schedule the Jets can do some damage. However about the Jets and their one dimensional offense...well the D can make up for that. Remember the 2000 Ravens who had no offense at all. I'm not saying the Jets D is that good but it can carry them.
The play-by-play guy has no idea what the Wildcat is. "Wildcat under Center" is a contradiction in terms.
Guys????we beat this freakin team...twice.......quantify that in terms of where were at as a football team relative to what makes a team sucessful in todays league.....what a mental and emotional game this is. We dont lose ronnie brown, were playing this game, and winning.
agree on san diego but disagree on indy and new england. I actually think the jesters match up well with the pasties. i think the pasties and ravens would both beat new york but i think it would be more of a battle. The Colts are such a machine on offense that I think they would carve up the jesters. Jesters dont get any pressure without the blitz and that would play into manning's hands. i think their defense would be scored on but not enough to keep pace with the colts scoring. it might be close at the half but by the 4th qtr the game would be over IMO
Any time Brad Smith enters the game, we hear about "that Wildcat". These announcers suck. I'm pissed off that Cinci is sucking. I'll take it out on the announcers!
Ced Benson is remiding me of Lamar Smith in 2000. If the Bengals find a way to win, he's gonna be toast for next week.
Watching this game makes you see exactly why these two franchises have been choke artists and losers.
The Bengals are a team that plays in the cold weather, yet isnt really built for the cold. What else should we expect.
How important is a great oline in todays game..wow...continue to build that orca 5 i tell ya. revis gets inside the receivers energy and space so nicely, on top of that, hes physically dominant, this dude is strong and built like a rock.
We could've beaten the Bengals...now that's your typical team that backed into the playoffs. About to be 20 years since they won a playoff game.
