ahh screw it.this helps the dolphins. no way the jesters get by the next round. they will draft later and knowing the jest fans they will now believe they are super bowl bound. the loss next week will simply be more painful

I think the Jets are going to draw San Diego next weekend because I doubt the Patsies beat the Ravens without Welker around.

He reminds a heck of alot of Chad Pennington now, he used to be a special Qb, but not now.

We would lynch mob Carpenter if he played like Cincy's kicker.

Rex Ryan's ego will be off the charts. He will continue to trade away draft picks to 'win now' as we go into next season. The Jets will have another 9 to 10 win season or two before only drafting three or four players a year catches up with them. Then they will be terrible. Fat Rex will be fired and the next crap coach will come in. So I guess in the long run this is good for the Dolphins and the rest of the east.

you're probably right about trying to win now and trading away more draft picks. this team will be a 4-12 team in a few of years

And luck. Do you think we'd be watching them right now if they would lost what our Fins lost to injury? Do you think they would have even been in the conversation if they would have lost Shonne Green in week 10 and Thomas Jones would have been banged up the last three weeks? Fat Rex couldn't stop crying about Jenkins. Funny, they have incredible luck with injury after that and suddenly you don't hear him anymore.

Bengals are the worst playoff team in recent memory. They limped into the playoffs and it showed. The Lions have a better chance to win a playoff game before the Bengals do.

Think about it. Fat Rex started went into 'win now' mode before he had even accomplished anything. Now with a playoff win he will think they are on the fringe of being a dynasty. He will ignore depth and go for some more big names. And he won't be so lucky with the injury bug forever. We'd be watching Miami in the playoffs right now instead of them if Ronnie doesn't go down.

Welll Blobzilla accomplished what we could not, win a playoff game.

With a rookie Qb to boot, imho I think the Phins should clean house on the defense and go defense heavy in the draft.

I gotta give em credit, Rex had his team ready to play, they definitely left it all on the field tonight. They aren't good enough to go all the way but they deserved this win.

They should have never even been there over Houston or Pittsburgh. They should have lost to Indy. What was a loss on basically every other opponent's schedule turned into a gimme for them. Fat Rex might be the luckiest man in the world after getting swept by Miami. Have they even had to deal with a significant injury since Jenkins went down?

I could give them credit if they weren't sore losers. Screw them. People who can't lose with a little grace and humility don't deserve any success. Nobody has to like losing, just the way Fat Rex makes excuses and refuses to acknowledge that anyone has ever outdone him and his team is childish and ridiculous. Screw them and screw his lard***.

Jets will be destroyed by whoever they play next. Carson Palmer was terrible and was outplayed by Sanchez. Manning or Rivers are both mvp candidates. No contest.

Luck? Srsly? The refs tried their best to take over the game with various questionable calls. The bottom line is the Bengals arent who we thought they were. Carson Palmer sucks. We didnt even have a ****ing punter. The Bengals had favorable field position all day.

Luck my ***. We beat their asses two weeks in a row.

Not to beat a dead horse but I garente if a poll was put up Henne or Palmer it wouldn't even be close. I for one spent half the game thinking man Henne would have mad that throw....

It wasn't luck that went up to Cinci and beat them like a drum.

Indy and Cinci laid down, the Jest took advantage as they were supposed to do, then they went up to Cinci and beat them again.

yeah I know. Hopefully some lame team will offer to trade up to our draft spot so we can get some extra picks. 4 picks aint gonna cut it when we cant sign FA's

Thanks for the classy posts. You're alright. :)

A playoff team cannot sign any free agents unless they lose one. I dont understand it but hey, Lord Goodell decreed it.

Dude me too. But the rules are pretty strict and harsh if you ask me. I also expect to see a lot of insane contracts that are front loaded to year one as well as a ton of over priced under performing players around the league cut. Can we say goodbye Jamarcus Russell?

Actually as I understand it this rule was inplace at the signing of the last CBA, which would mean that "Lord Goodell" has nothing to do with it.

I'm not saying they didn't play hard. I'm saying they got an advantage that the other wildcard contenders didn't get. That's all. All they can do is play who lines up across from them. It is what it is. Hopefully luck will be on our side next season, it certainly wasn't this year. A team we beat twice got in ahead of us. We were very good in the division and they were very poor in the division. Hard to explain these things but they happen.
