Vick sucks, if we wanted to guarantee never winning anything but Regular season games Vick would be our man.

the harm is waisting a 2-3 round pick on another QB when we still need to take OL, CB, DT, DE, TE, S, WR....and more and we cant waist a pick or a guy who will ride the bench. we have to give beck a shot next season and get him some HELP. he is one of the only guys trying his heart out while most people are just going through the motions and beck is getting blamed for it. just remember beck has only 3 STARTS in the NFL. almost everyone struggles in the first few starts, for example, peyton manning had a BAD first year and he played with most of his starters. beck hasnt played with hardly any of his starters

Make it easy on Brennan and draft Rivers too. The guy is a monster receiver. The only thing Beck has shown is that he is no where near ready to take over this offense. Ginn, Hagen, & Rivers with Colt at QB. Get another Offensive Lineman and the rest Defense and we will be in great shape.

by the time Beck is ready, he´ll be 30. Way to go Cam and Randy

although the jury will still be out for another two to three years, Quinn and Gonzalez looks a bit better at this point than Ginn Jr. and Beck. MIght as well draft a tackle or a defensive lineman in the first and if we still stink, Tebow next year.

and by the way, I think Brohm is the best of the bunch of those three. Ryan leapt onto the national scene this year, Brennan is solid but his backup is nearly just as good so it might be the system.

Brennan is not a top 5 QB, have you guys seen the offense they run in Hawaii? Wouldn't be a smooth transition to our offense, whatever that is by next year. Ryan is the top QB on the draft board of 80% percent of the NFL teams, he's considered the most NFL ready.

Drafting a QB isn't going to help much, especially after drafting Beck this year. How much can we really learn about him this year on an 0-13 team?

The answer is simple at QB... pick one and stick with him. 3 starting QBs each of the last two years. Good teams have one QB and unless there is an injury they know they're the starter. It's consistency and rhythm. Even Peyton Manning had problems the first couple games without Marvin Harrison because he hadn't established rhythm with the new WRs. All the top teams have a clear starter.

Even if you don't have a Pro Bowl QB, at least give the offense a chance to gel. Then evaluate your QB.

How did you come to that conclusion? Quinn wont be starting in Cleveland for about 4 years, if ever.

good preseason, younger, Cleveland has cobbled together a better line for him to work behind when the time comes. Browns´fans are genuinely excited about him. But the jury is certainly still out.
Gonzalez over Ginn is a no brainer to me, but the obvious rebuttal is Manning versus whoever we got.

I believe we should try to trade the #1 pick for Dallas's two first round pick even if it means taking less then what a team should get for the number one overall pick. I would deffinately take their two first round picks along with Bobby Carpenter, who was a first round pick two years ago and Dallas would prolly depart with him because of their depth that they have at linebacker, and maybe a third this year and a second next year.

With one of the first round picks if brohm is available then theres no doubt we should take him. Yes i know we just wasted a second on Beck but we need a yoing Qb that we can actually develop and mature for the 2-3 years a qb should have. Im not saying to give up on Beck because i still believe he has what it takes but even if Beck works out, Brohm is like three and a half years younger then Beck so beck still gets his chance to prove himself while we develop Brohm.

I don't want to waste the 1st pick on a QB. Then we are in the same situation next year that we are now. A rookie QB on a crappy team with no chance. I want to see more of Beck maybe he develops into something. Plus I don't want him to be a rookie again next year. I know we have been on a quest for a QB for the last 8 years but this team needs to get back to fundamental football and have somewhat of a team. No 1st round draft pick QB is going to fix this. Marino came to a team that was already the defending AFC champs.

Brohm or Ryan should be our pick. Beck has not shown me anything worth of a second rounder. We should expect somewhat faster results than other rookie QB's because he is 26! We cannot afford to pass up another franchise QB(even though I like the Ginn pick). We would be the laughingstock of the nfl if we pass again.

BTW I do not remember what show I was watching(ESPN possibly) but anyhow there was mention of the Browns likely taking offers for Derek Anderson at the end of this season because he is a restricted or unrestricted F/A. Supposibly they want Quinn as the future not Anderson. Again just a rumor.

I would love Dereck Anderson. I would throw them J.T. for Anderson straight up, but I dont think that would ever happen. The thing about Anderson is will he keep up his performance without Edwards, Juravicious, Lewis and Wisllow. The thing about trading for players is sometimes they dont turn out to be who you thought they were, especially QBs in our case.

Now, the rumor I have heard is that Clevend will tender Anderosn with the highest tender and listen for trade offers about Quinn.....

Neither of those players would even be a legitimate upgrade over Lemon. :glare:
