Man I love the GM League. Crunching football statistics at 10 AM on three hours of sleep and roughly four cups of coffee to whoop the proverbial *** of other GMs in a league that gets you nothing but bragging rights is damn close to divinity.
Plus, we usually have a thread in each of the free agent and trade forums that is called the unofficial thread to discuss official (trades) or something...
I would like to take this opportunity to caution those that have posted lists in the trade forum. You may want to check your own free agent list before posting. People who you think are RFA's are actually UFA's and can't be traded. Example. The Browns Matt Roth.
This brings up a good point ... when do we get rosters and have we decided how we are handling the whole RFA/UFA thing as it pertains to the CBA?
Are you saying Roth isnt worth a franchise tag? The Eagles will be very upset if Roth is unavailable.
This link was really helpful in finding free agent years for your players: http://walterfootball.com/freeagentscontracts.php
We use http://www.theredzone.org/FreeAgency/2010FreeAgents.aspx It's been probably the most reliable free agent site I've seen.
Not trying to say your site is bad, but I've noticed if we stick to one site for our free agents... less problems. I really haven't had any problems with TRZ either. Last year I thought it'd be a good idea to add KFFL's free agent list to The Red Zone's list to double check everything... Let's just say the Chris Gamble incident doesn't need much to explain that the Panthers GM was quite pissed off thanks to KFFL.
oh we could trade part of the pending would be upon arrival he receives free passes to Jim's (cheese steak place in Philly).
How awesome is FA going to be this yr??? Miles Austin, Brandon Marshall, and Braylon Edwards are all FAs!! I'm putting everyone on warning now...I have the cap space and I am going after......none...of....them...
I know. You know I dont take things so literally. I thought I was making a suggestion, didnt realize you guys had the answer already sounds about right
Just throwing this out there for anyone interested.... draft picks by team. http://www.fftoolbox.com/nfl_draft/2010/nfl_draft_order_full.cfm
