Sorry Bpk, hadn't been on the computer in a few days. I don't think I'd want to move Mathis right now unless it was a big offer, trying to improve the defense some. Now with Nelson I might would do Rice and third, have to think. I'd love to get Stewart and pair him with MJD and just never throw another pass but I can't really afford to do that right now.
By the way I have a friend that's going join I think once he gets his copy of Madden. He's pretty good and we're 3-3 against each other so far on 2010. A recent piece by PFT's Mike Florio has confirmed this. Earlier today Florio posted on his website that an unnamed league executive told Florio that Chiefs management had approached the executives team inquiring about offers for players like Larry Johnson, Dwayne Bowe, and Jamal Charles. Reactions by fans of the team from Kansas City has not been favorable so far. Amid multiple posts on PFT by angry Chiefs fans, the common response seems to be that many fans are considering defecting from the team. One post by fan known by the username chi3fs2bowl said "What is this team doing? They are turning our team into the new Detroit Lions. I've been a season ticket holder for 40 years, and if this happens I will never watch another chiefs game again" When questioned about the report at a press conference today Coach Parker replied with the following. "The report is indeed true we have been shopping players, but that is simply because we are always looking at every available option to make our team better. Dwayne, and Larry are great players and are a large part of this team, but with that said if we feel can get great value from them we will make the trade. As for Jamal he is a player we really like, and he has great potential but just needs to be patient and maybe one day he could be a starter for us. I thought so. I was online at 3pm today but no sign of Raffie again. HOpe he's alright. PSN says he hasn;t signed on in 3-4 days. I can;t keep rearranging my schedule then not having the games happen though, it's too disruptive with the amount of stuff I have going on over here. Not sure what to do now. Hope Raffie's okay, but this is like 2 or 3 times he hasn;t shown up and I can;t do that a fourth time. Seriously. But I also don;t think it's fair to sim it at this point, since I played the whole season and want a chance to win or lose on the merits of my own skill. I'm at my wit's end here. Raffie, help me out man, please. We have to stick to the times you propose. Or, if you aren;t 100% sure you can make it, I'd rather you not propose the time at all. Ashraf has been online every night talking GM league with me, he's my co-gm. If he's set exact dates and times and not shown up, disregard this post, but I think it would be wrong to disqualify him when he's been available a lot of other times and BPK hasnt. I'm sure he has a reason for being unavailable right now. But I like everyone else want everyones games done so we can move into the offseason soon. Let's see what he has to say.
eh but in the same regard....if hes on everynight for gm league stuff then he can take an hour to play his game. if anything....just tell someone when you wont be there if you made plans.....everyone has lives, i understand that. but bpk has solidified times to play with raff and raff has agreed, then not shown up with no explanation. we cant have that.

That is true. But sorry for trying to catch some sleep for school. You know I can't stay awake to 12 when school is the next day. I tried, but I couldn't do it. Also, I have been available at times, and asked you to play but you couldn't play because you were busy. Also, I checked if he is available at times, but because of where we live, he's not on when I am and I'm not on when he is. Today, I took my little brother and little cousin out to watch avatar. I couldn't bail on our day because of a video game. It wouldn't be fair to them. If we can agree on a time, let's do it. If we can't, then you can sim it. But you can not let him play computer so he can have an easy win. It woulnt be fair,
I agree with that statement, however you set the time. I do agree that real life takes priority over video games and things happen, however you did set that time to play with BPK. He was waiting at that time, and not showing up or even sending a message is not respecting his time. Your word is important, even if life gets in the way there are still consequences. It doesn't matter if you give your word to a video game or to a job interview. It is still your word.

Ehh, another problem. I don't have my phone with me. My friend lost it( payed it back though), so I'm getting it back Monday. The game has to be played before Monday. Right now, it seems like getting the game played will be hard. Can you text him now and see if he's free? I can literally stay up all day, since I have no school tomorrow.

Raff, I have tried to create ways for us to communicate since that week 17 match. I tried to trade cell numbers with you so you could text me, but you told me you couldn't do that. Then I told you my email comes straight to my phone, so you could get me that way on short notice. I have never received anything that way from you either. I know you have popped up unexpected as I was signing off my PSN and wanted to play, but games take an hour and I have a job, plus run a business in addition to that, plus have a girlfriend, plus have been in the midst of buying a new car.. etc etc. (all time consuming, trust me) so I have a scheduled life. I generally don;t care to get into *why* I am busy, because who cares about hearing my personal stories, you know? That's why I simply tell people when I am going to be available and leave it at that. That's also why it's important that we communicate, agree on days/times then show up for them. I learned that in the corporate world. A person can;t be loosey-goosey about it when other people's time is involved. If you want to be totally spontaneous then we both need a phone number for one another so we can communicate quickly and effectively, or I need you to email me so I get the communication immediately. As I've said, email goes right to my phone,whereas it may take a few hours for me to get a message on PSN, so it's a less reliable way to communicate. The issues here are: 1) Effort being put into communicating 2) Effort being put into following through. I understand you're busy, bro, but my time is no less valuable than yours and I clear my time to make sure I can play you when we agree on proposed times. Since we are in explanation-mode, I'll actually share. For example, I had a friend I haven;t seen in a year coming to town this weekend and he planned his trip out in advance. I told him I could see him Friday night when he arrived but not to a Saturday day trip with him because I wanted to get this game out of the way and it had been hard to agree on a day/time so I wanted to stick to it. Well, I'd rather have been seeing the town with my buddy than sitting on a couch uninformed. Other nights we were supposed to play I have had to negotiate with the gf about NOT spending time with her because this madden league is 'important' to me. When I end up telling her that three times in a week because the game *still* didn't get played "so I need to do it tonight instead of us going for dinner", then eventually she starts to get annoyed and it gets harder for her to respect MY word when I say I have something important to do. There's a domino effect on other people is all I am saying, Raff. That's why it bothers me. I could care less about who wins at this point. I can always play SICK and Dupree outside of franchise later to see if I'd have beaten them if I get simmed out of a win here. The point isn't the danged league or game, though with the months we've put in it would be nice to see it played out by humans. The real point is just being considerate. I wish I were more available for 'drop-in' games, but even if I were you'd need to at least *contact* me about them! That's what happened. I was supposed to go at 6:20, but my family made me go to the 2:20 showing. So, I didn't have any time to message him. But that should change since I'm getting my phone tomorrow.
I think it is pretty fair if something like that happens one more time that BPK gets to play against the CPU. I do not think it is who is right or who is wrong. It is the fact that actions have consequences. Sometimes life does get in the way of a few things and when that happens there are consequences. A good learning experience from this is that no one cares about your story. We all have our own stories. What people do care about is if you can keep your word or not. It is an important quality to have as a man. If you want to have a quality girlfriend, job and good friends.
Yeah but Ashraf didn't just shrug off what he was supposed to do. He Had to do something else. He's only 17 right now, not every decision in life is his yet. Other people influence the things that he has to do sometimes I'd guess. Seeing as how I'm only 19, it wasn't very long ago my life was like that too. As soon as he got back on he let us know why he couldn't play the game, and set up another date and time for it. The thing is that while BPK hasn't not shown up for a set time, he hasn't exactly been flexable and available either. I don't think Ashraf should be punished for not being able to play the one time BPK is able, when he has been able a bunch of other times and BPK has to tend to his own life, which is understandable. It's just a situation where both guys aren't on the same schedule.
