I think we stand a good chance to get a good schedule in terms of limiting the amount of December cold games we have to play. We only have four cold weather opponents (NJY, BUF, NE and DEN). Since there are four months in the regular season (Sep-Dec), the law of averages suggests we would have only one of those games in each month. Hopefully we get a little lucky with the scheduling and keep the cold snow games to a minimum.

You know NE will be at the end of the year (why they do that I don't know...)

I'm pretty sure they actually rotate it. One year we play them here in the heat and there in the cold, then the next year we play them early there and late here.

I'd rather go there early in the season and play down here late in the season, than the other way around. Our September "home field heat advantage" is nonexistent now.

I'm not worry about when we play who....if we have a good team then we should be able to play anywhere at any time....we need to focus on just getting better as a team.

    Ozzy rules!!

Just looked through 04-07 and you're right, it does alternate... for some reason it seemed like we always play there in December.

Exactly. If we have to worry about playing somewhere then that's pretty bad. Football is meant to be played outdoors in the elements!!!! If we can't play in some type of weather then we need to take up basketweaving or something.

Same with St. Louis... Midwest starts to hits the 30-40s around November then in December the 30s and below come to town.

    Well away from here
I don't know if that is true either. It would make sense if that is the case, but hey very little happens in the world based on logical thinking.

You should have gone back a few more years:

    2000, week 17 - at NE
    2001, week 15 - at NE
    2002, week 17 - at NE
    2003, week 14 - at NE
    2004, week 15 - in Mia
    2005, week 17 - at NE
    2006, week 14 - in Mia
    2007, week 16 - at NE

NE hasn't played in Miami in Sept since 2000.

Well, hopefully the players are in much better shape entering the season this year, or I'd be more worried about the hot-weather home games than the cold ones, oddly enough..

Every team should get accostumed to playing in ALL types of weather conditions ! The great thing about football is that is it is played in every type of weather condition, baring lighting off course.

the NFL loves NE. Anything to help them out.

I'm sure if Tom Brady gets hurt in a game, the NFL will reschedule it until he gets better.

Living in Colorado, I hope the Denver game is early in the year, but you never know what the conditions are going to be like at Mile High....you can have a 70 degree day in Nov. or December or a 20 degree day. Either way, I will be at the game in my Phin's uniform.
