Wow. I have been so stubborn about not getting too excited over Johan... until now.
Oh boy, if Pedro looks like I've been hearing; if Oliver can even maintain last year's performance, and if Maine is who a lot of think he is...

Ugh, I have to stop now.

Ugh. The Marlins are still hard at work perfecting the swiss cheese defense. When the Marlins lose a game, they earn it through their own actions.

Still 2 games left in the series, though.

Ramirez has all the talent in the world, yet sleep walks when in the field. As a manager that would drive me insane.

I would be surprised if we don't see Pedro back on the mound until at least June.

What a horrible break, 2nd game of the year and we are already minus our 2nd best starter.

and when Johan, Maine and Ollie all have 15 + wins, about a k an inning and sub 3.5 era's ill remind you just how underrated we are.

Last year we had no one who could pitch a CG. Now maine and johan fit the bill since maine's been stretched out accordingly...

Poor Pedro, hopefully it's nothing too serious for him or that only 15 days can fix.

I must admit I've never been a big John Maine fan but I've seen him throw a few times this spring and even though I usually put zero thought into spring stats or performance I must say he's starting to win me over.

It seems a lot of people missed that part of last year where only 7 of his starts he gave up more then 4 runs in 32 starts while throwing about 50 more innings then his previous high. Hes got ace stuff if he learns to avoid that occassional bad inning. :wink2:

So the Marlins swing their bats. Nice showing from the team.

I expect Hanley to hit the ball a couple of times tomorrow. He's done nothing this series.

Ive also find it odd when someone likes a Florida and a NY team. Its almost like someone being a Yankees/Patriots fan. Hard for me to wrap my head around.
