3. 3 way SOS tie between 4-12 Atlanta, Kansas City, and Oakland.
According to this site the coin toss tie breaker only applies to teams in different conferences, in which case Kansas City would win the tie breaker with Oakland and it would be a coin toss between Kansas City and Atlanta for 3 with Oakland selecting 5th. I'm not sure about this since the NFL.com tie breaker says that a coin toss is used to break SOS ties, but says nothing about conference or how to break a 3-way tie with a coin toss.
6. New York Jets (4-12)
7. New England (via 5-11 San Francisco)
8. Baltimore (5-11)
9. Cincinnati (7-9)
10. New Orleans (7-9)
11. Tie Between 7-9 Buffalo and Denver
13. Another 3 way SOS tie between 7-9 Carolina, Chicago and Detroit.
16. Arizona (8-8)
17. Minnesota (8-8)
18. Houston (8-8)
19. Philadelphia (8-8)
20. Cleveland or Tennessee if they lose to the Colts.
21-32 TBD after playoffs conclude.

Because the tie breaker for the draft has nothing to to with division, conference or head to head record. The tie breaker is Strength of Schedule (SOS)

They'll all be picking in the top 12. Should be interesting to follow who makes out the best in the end.

I hope Atlanta gets the last of those picks. They may panic about getting a QB or maybe even McFadden if Norwood isnt going to take over for Dunn. Also Baltimore at 8 might be a possibility if they throw in a player

I think that whomever the Rams covet will have the most impact on the Dolphins ability to trade out of the #1 spot. They aren't a likely landing spot for McFadden, but hopefully a player emerges that will force other teams to need to jump over them. QB is a possibility. But a Atlanta or Baltimore would have to be convinced that Ryan is that much better than Brohm or vice versa for that to happen.

The Pats win again.
The Patriots come out smelling like roses by dropping down to the seventh, or eighth slot in the draft. They don't have to commit as much money to a player that isn't going to be marginally worse then the player they would have got at two, or three, and they have more flexibility to trade and acquire more picks. The highest picks in the draft are almost impossible to trade, but at seven, or eight, the Patriots occupy a sweet spot where coveted players begin to fall, and other teams might wish to make a move to get. Besides, the highest picks in the draft are rarely the best players in the draft. 40% of this year's Pro Bowlers were drafted in the third-round, or lower, or not at all. Three years ago the top five picks in the draft were Alex Smith, Ronnie Brown, Braylon Edwards, Cedric Benson and Cadillac Williams, only Brown and Edwards are remotely dominant at this point, and Brown is now recovering from a serious injury and may never be the same. The Patriots on the other hand, drafted Logan Mankins, Ellis Hobbs, and Nick Kaczur with their top three picks, which were at the end of each round. It doesn't matter where you draft if you don't know what you're doing, and the Fins haven't demonstrated they know what they're doing regardless of who is drafting the players--Wannstadt, Spielman, Saban, Mueller, whoever. -
The Ravens are up against the Cap, doubtful they could do that trade without cutting a bunch of guys.

Why would they move up so much to get McFadden when they have McGahee? Its not his fault Billick is a moron and they have a worse passing game than us. There will be a QB there for them at 8. Remember, we will have potentially 4 blue chip QBs in this draft-Ryan, Brohm, Woodson and Brennen. If they want a QB bad and still dont see one falling trading with a team like KC would make more sense than with us. I really am not seeing much in the way of tradeing down for us.
And for the love of God nobody start off with that Dallas crap.
