Philthy is a notorius bad team in April. Think maybe their fans have anything to do with that?

 

Yeah but in fairness "best out of that group" is kinda like having the the nicest double wide in the trailer park dont ya think?

As for Utley getting MVP, I think David Wright is making an early claim to the award this year.

 

Yeah and so is Xavier Nady, way too early to even think about that. Wright threw it in the tank after starting off awesome a couple years ago.

 

The Nats are going to be pretty good this year.

 

Definitely way too early to say who will win, but before anyone had even played I think most had Wright on the short list.

Huge comeback Phillies win today....down 6-1...they came back to win 8-7 in 10 innings. J-Roll showed why he is the MVP!!!

 

Chase will be MVP in 08. You heard it here first.
Seriously though, last night when they were loosing I kept yelling at the tv "who are you? The F-ing .dolphins?!?!" First time in 3 years they didn't get swept in the first series. Its a good start

 

A girl yelling at the tv due to sports. I think I may need to make the nasty with this one. Even if she is a Phillies fan...

 

And i have a feeling that they are gonna OWN Philly this year!

 

Actually, Colome showed what it looks like to have a MAJOR BRAIN CRAMP!!! Man was I MIFFED!!!

 

Cholly Manuel always seems to get them off to a slow start.

I don't know what it is about April with this team? Chase would have won the MVP last year had he not gotten beaned and hurt his wrist and missed a month of the season.

I heard on the radio during the game that it was an ankel sprain. If thats all, it shouldn't be too bad.

Minor sprain. Cleat got stuck in the dirt. Should start Wed night.

 

The Mets were hitting Chase Utley more than the baseball today. Schoenweise is the Met's version of Tom Gordon. Hopefully J-Roll's ankle won't cause him too miss too many games. I am happy the Braves and Gnats are off to lousy starts. It's gonna be a long season.

Myers looked really good tonight, but the Flyers made me want to puke.

 

Cole Hamels is looking like he is having a Cy Young season.

 

Phillies lost 6-5 in 10 innings. They got totally hosed. A Cub's player hit a home run that was clearly foul. Even the announcers said it was clearly foul after watching the replays but the 3rd base ump called it fair. This always happens to the Phils.

 

Bad calls happen, it's part of the game. Utley should have been able to turn the routine DP with Carlos running, but he couldn't. You guys still won the series so not all is lost.
