The writer did have a good flair, in sports that is hard to find.
We'll see, we still have three major transitions to go through, A) Qb B)Pass rushing OLB C) Running back.
JJ was a great judge of talent whose schemes the NFL caught up with, that is football death in the NFL, Wanny then rode the team into the ground with what was left of JJ's talent.
And notice how farsighted Tuna and Ireland are, the real damage of the Wanny Era was the failure to develop a Qb with a long term horizon, that killed us during Saban and Cameron's time here, so Ireland and Co picked up Henne, White and signed Pennington, error rectified.
I also believe he hit the nail on the head about Joey Porter and Charlie Anderson, Porter wore down, Anderson never stepped up and we signed JT and Wake as insurance..Disnardo likes this.
