Can't believe the Jags would make the playoffs.

Broncos v Colts, and Saints v Vikes right now.

I'd take Colts v Saints, though NFC could go either way between those two.

the broncos are without a doubt for real.

im still skeptical of the vikings until they play some top dogs like New Orleans has.

thats why i question their strength. if they struggle with teams that probably wont make the playoffs (or barely make it in), how will they make it to the super bowl? The Saints have completely destroyed everyone they've played, including the 5-0 Giants who are a very good team. The Vikings struggled with Detroit.

Nice design. Hopefully we'll see the Dolphins in that number 6 slot next week. or the week after.

Two teams that are impressing the hell out of me right now are the Falcons and Broncos. Atlanta is just getting after it defensively. They forced turnovers against us and won because of it... they forced turnovers against the Bears on Sunday night and won because of it. They hit, they tackle, they punch you in the mouth. Broncos, similar stuff... they get after it defensively... can't believe how well that front seven is playing right now. Have to give full credit to Mike Nolan as the DC. He is IMO the best DC in the NFL right now with the job he is doing in Denver. Converting to a 34 in one offseason and they aren't missing a beat. Dumervil leads the NFL in sacks, impressed... impressed by both teams physicality.

Broncos play the Ravens and Steelers here soon... wow
And the Falcons will play the Saints shortly... wow X 2...

    good points.

I'm equally impressed with the Broncos defense. 9 new starters on that defense. They have shut people down since day 1. Unreal. Did you see that stat about Dumervil having more career sacks than Mario Williams, being picked 120+ picks later?

nearly as impressive is the Green Bay defense making a pretty smooth transition to the 3-4 under Capers. Clay Mathews is playing like a Pro Bowler right now. Their D-line is making plays. Jolly and Jenkins are thriving, and showing great awareness. And as always, their secondary is a turnover machine. too bad their oline sucks, or they could be 5-0. i feel like both of their losses were because of sacks.

I think Houston is a team on the verge of greatness. You see it some weeks, and then it fades in others. If they can shore up the run defense enough to limit the huge plays, they can quietly creep into a 11-5 record.

The game against the Texans could be huge for us. I think it's time we FINALLY get a win against them. Remember when they sucked in 2003 and somehow beat us and then we missed the playoffs due to tiebreaker? I dont want that happening this year.

The Giants lost to the only playoff caliber team theyve played, the Saints, and badly. I give the Vikes credit, they are for real - for now.

Favre can win in a dome or in Sep/Oct. But make him try and win one in 10 degree weather with snow against Philly, NYG, GB or Chitown. I dont think he can.

The Broncs are on a roll. I dont think they can finish the season this hot, but damn they will be in the picture heavily. Going to Mile High in December is NOT going to be fun for a team like Indy.

Houston imo is one of those perpetually average franchises that people love to fawn over, then forget later when they collapse. I give them NO credit until they make the playoffs anymore.

    Cards, Cowboys, Jets are in.

    9ers, Packers, Jags are out.

I'm using NFL.com conference standings to break ties that go beyond conference record.

    Ugh the Jets ...

But with Jenkins and Washington out for th season, and Edwards possibly in trouble, I dont see them lasting through the nasty part of their schedule. This game vs. them is going to be a fight though.

For our chances, the Texans beating the Bills was huge, and losing Owen Daniels takes a weapon off of the table when we play them.

in 3 weeks that chart will be radically different.

i was just saying last week how i wished i had drafted owen daniels this year in fantasy football. im so glad i didnt now.

i like owen daniels as an emerging star in the league. miami needs a player like him. in fact they need him specifically.

so....Jets out, Texans in. Eagles in, Falcons out unless they beat the Saints.

    Giants free falling.

Hes a FA I believe, the big question will be how bad that injury is. The Texans were waffling on a contract before he started putting up some serious #s, but now with him on the sideline he may hit the market. But will he be ready to go for the start of next season is the worry.

    I sat Dustin Keller today...

Daniels balanced Johnson, the Texans even benched Steve Slaton, they beat the Bills "but" they sort of hit a wall in that game.

    Schaub threw 2 int's.

That Bills game should not be overlooked, that team is lucky.

the bills got mad picks in the preseason, and now in the regular season they're getting even more. they still suck though.

i wouldnt worry about the texans. they have more than 2 or 3 weapons. They still got Andre Johnson, Kevin walter, Jacoby Jones, Slaton, Moats. thats plenty. Schaub will continue to sling the rock for TDs.

I think Falcons would technically be #6 ahead of the Giants, they have a higher %. Doesnt matter, just leave it 'til tomorrow's game.

Let's hope the Fins win next week and then pick on the lesser teams and move in.

We can do this!!! All the teams we needed to lose, did! [We have to hope the Chargers win the West, since they beat us, and we dont play the broncos so we have a better shot beating out denver.] I dont think the Browns will pull it off tomorrow, but you never know, it's already worked out so far. Pats, Jets, Bills, Steelers, Broncos all lost. Phins won.

    Please keep it going Dolphins!
