Today has been huge. According to CBSsports.com, The Bronco loss puts them out, the steelers loss drops them to the 6 spot and the Jaguars are actually the 5th seed! Too bad nobody watched them. Not a bad day for the Dolphins

I can't believe the Jags are in a wildcard spot right now. I watched them barely escape the Bills yesterday. I think we'll take care of those guys next month.

Well I can't believe after an 0-3 start Miami is 1GB in the Wild Card and essentially 1GB in the division (Miami only needs NE to lose once and Miami beating NE to be division leaders which could happen in two weeks).

Miami plays just about every WC contender except Baltimore and Denver and luckily Pittsburgh and Baltimore play each other two more times this season (awesome either one team will be almost eliminated or they'll get at least one more loss apiece). Then Denver doesn't scare me at all I see 8-8 for them.

If Miami concentrates on winning each game and I think go 5-1 in the last six they'll find themselves in the playoffs (probably the six spot).

    updated.

NFL.com stole my idea and added a "if the season ended today" playoff picture to their site. They never had that feature before this year. I demand credit!

True. Miami is only one game back of the #6 seed, and they play the team currently in that spot next week. A baltimore loss tomorrow helps as well.

Yes and 1 game behind the Patriots. We become big Bills fans in 2 weeks. We've got playoff style football that began today and for the rest of the season, we play all teams fighting for the playoffs. Will be exciting! Hopefully dolphins fans take over the Jags stadium. Let's get back to back division titles!

texans and titans are out of the playoff race. 3 games back with 4 games remaining is pretty much done. they have too many teams ahead of them. whoever gets in will be 10-6.

Broncos or Jaguars at home :dolphin:

I can dream. Though it could become reality if we keep playing like we did today.

So is the reason Miami is behind Baltimore because of Conference record or common opponents?

Updated. Miami moves up to the on-deck circle. Jags blow their season by losing, but could hold the key to Miami potentially winning the AFC East by beating the Patriots. Colts have clinched.......um......home field for their bye week?
