As a fellow journalist, I can't help but do the Homer Simpson "Doh!" every time I see Armando ruin a decent write-up with his pompous, self-righteous, infantile "I'm da man" spleen. Can someone please whack him on the head or hire the guy a hooker? I think he really, really needs it.

Well, not even close, in 04 RW retired prior to the season, if you look at our losses early in the yr, we were close, losing by 3 to 6 points usually or the amount of points we could expect from a Williams from that era.

In 07, we were just bad, we lost by 16, 1 game in OT, 17 to the cowboys, 18 to the raiders, 17 to the browns, 17 to the patriots.

Trent Green was done at that point in his career, Lamar Gordon did do much to replace Ricky either.

Erm. No? We lost to the Browns by 10 and to the Patriots by 21 each. We also lost by 3 in six games, so it's not like we've got blown out on a weekly basis.

The seasons may feel the same now, but IMO as far as talent goes we are MUCH better off now then we were in 04 and 07. 2004 we were old, 2007 we were just talentless, but at least now we have some nice talent to work with for the next regime.

    In 07:

    16-13 Skins OT
    37-21 Cowboys
31-28 Jets (who went 4-12 that yr)
    35-17 Raiders
    22-19 Texans
31-21 Browns (I misread that one, thought it was 41-21)
    49-28 pats
    13-10 Gmen (in London)
    17-7 eagles
    3-0 Stealers (in the monsoon)
    40-13 Jets
    38-17 Bills
    28-7 Pats

We were blown out of what 7 games?

This yr we have lost 3 games by 10 pts or more, so we are on track, but then again the Defense in 07 was just old, this yr we have better talent who is not playing up to their level, unlike in 07 when we lost Zach and had to use Crowder at MLB.

What do we do now? Do we still go to the games? This disappointing season is getting worse by the day.

Now Henne is not playing and I was looking forward to watching him at Sun Life really grow this season. The season is quite depressing.

The fact that an insider leaked info about other QBs Miami looked at, shows to me that the gulf between coaches and personnel staff are at a irreparable stage. I could guess that a coach leaked it just to discredit the personnel staff as to how inept they are at acquiring free agents.

This franchise is in flux and dispair. It already has all the makings of a spiralling season like 2007. The players weren't mentally or physically ready and the defense is not playing as a team and not playing to par. It's a deteriorating situation no one in the organisation seems to want to bond together and pull through. They look like quitting no matter what I hear them say.

I honestly think Sparano will resign before he is asked to leave...it feels like it will be only a matter of weeks now if not days.

Or, we beat the Jest on MNF and go on a roll.

In 07 one of the problems amounted to having no depth, the cupboards were barren, this yr's problem is injuries and to many walking wounded guys not playing up to snuff, 2 weeks off should help a lot.

In 07 we lost YBell, then lost Worrell, then lost Hill (iirc), then lost Green, and Williams, and Brown all for the season.

Add in Truck was d-o-n-e and Porter was playing RDE at times and that season was a goat hump from the Ginn draft pick.

lol the Pats would have beaten us by 50 if Matt Cassel didn't suck so bad. Brady threw 6 TDs in that game.

And you knew we were going to get killed in that one, so much so ASUfinphan was thinking of taking the patriots and their 18 pts.
