No, Melvin landed in BC in 2011, Wake was outta BC after 08. Task master of a coach, hardcore really hardcore.
Nice, I'm curious if the reason poached Melvin from BC is they want to use more CFL style Dline tactics to generate a passrush from a 4 man look?
Crazy, but Olafioye has been released from his contract by the rams due to medical reasons, and will return to BC this yr. Keeping Jovan Olafioye and Khalif Mitchell is surprising as BC was unable to keep Solomon Eliminian whom they thought they'd be able to keep.
That's odd , have to see if any medical concerns show up for him in BC . While the CFL isn't the NFL , the schedule isn't soft by any means , lots of close in time games.
Internal organ issues. Dolphins signed Messam, which is not a real surprise as he has the sort of size and speed combination that fits the NFL, Jerome Messam's problem is he is very immature, his physical talent is unquestionable.
After some question about it, I can say we added Messam. CFL tally this yr: -Jerome Messam Rb Most Outstanding Canadian -Marcus Thigpen Rb/Kr set a CFL record for returns for TD's Have to say that this fills my view that a player really needs to be "elite" in the CFL to sign them, Messam has worlds of talent but maturity issues, Thigpen could fill a need at Returner if he can handle punts as well as kickoff returns, both should have the opportunity to show what they can do in OTA's and TC and both are worth listening for when OTA's kick off in April (?) They should show what they can do rather quickly if they are both healthy.
I honestly don't think he is NFL calibre , he isn't very big and doesn't have long speed. A former teamate swears he can't play in the NFL fwiw.
