Good pick on Spence. Instinctive linebacker that runs pretty well and is very smart. At Miami, majority of his career, he was around 200 pounds. He just couldn't hold weight.

Wow. Still happy for you though. Seeing as how you've previously mentioned how much you work, it seems well deserved. Plus, you're good people. :)

Man, Paul that kills me. I tried to trade up with just about everyone in the 5th round for Spence and then thought he might have a chance to fall to me. Regardless of where he goes in the actual draft he is a steal at this point. Miami LBs are underrated going into the draft lately and I guess Shannon and his coaching staff are the reason. But looking at how these guys are performing in the NFL you see how good they are. And honestly, at Miami I don't think Beason, Gooden, or McCarthy were as good as Spence was. The guy always finds the ball. I know cross-race comparisons are rarely made (for some stupid reason), but this guy reminds me of Zach Thomas, but is a better athlete. Undersized, but flies around and always seems to be in on the tackle. I'd bet quite a bit of money not only on him becoming a starter, but becoming a good one in the NFL.

Oh, and because that really threw me off, I have to wait until I get home and look at my board before I make my pick. Should be less than an hour.

His size might be a factor there, but I think once he gets real coaching he can improve on that. For me it's a pretty big testimate to the player when he can do what he did with the absolutely bottom barrell coaching he got under the Shannon regime.

Figured that Keenum would make a nice backup/3rd stringer.

It was between him or Kellen Moore, so I chose Keenum.... He's my 3rd stringer anyways, what's the difference?

Well that's embarrassing, sorry my find key is broke on my keyboard, has to browse by my eye, got someone though. But no thanks, I'm OK on holding off on Keenum, thank you though.

Can't be anymore embarrassing than GIK misspelling Juron Criner's last name. Or any more embarrassing that it has sat this long....it probably would have been a dick move to try to take advantage of that little oops.

I like the Jenkins pick more than if you would have selected Kellen Moore. At least you know Jenkins has potential. Moore is a schoolboy.

Boise St QB's always suck. Zebransky FTW. And I've seen a lot of Jenkins, he's going to be a nice WR if he can get playing him, he's quite the speedster as well.

I know I figure he'd be a good late round pick. Not much risk as a late 5th rounder with the talent he has. I'd rather have Harris to be honest but Tampa ruined EVERYTHING!

it's funny, i had five guys lined up two days ago for pick 146... Spence was at the top... but I saw Hayward CB drop off the list (fourth choice) when he was picked at 142... at worst I got one guy left of the five! 144 rolls around, there goes Bequette (had him third on my list). Took Spence... 148... there goes the fifth guy I had, Dajohn Harris. Still got one left though. :shifty: I doubt he'll make the 7th round. :shifty:...
