He has never picked a GM... he inherited Ireland and for some reason wanted to keep him. Ireland's track record really isn't that bad IMO. But I'd rather not get into that because I'd like to be able to visit one thread in this entire forum without wanting to punch someone.
I don't think it's that bad, but I think his time is, or should be, up. Then again, it may not be all on him considering... Which is unfortunate.
would be nice to move along some picks tonight in the event I could make mine before going to work tomorrow morning... pick #27... holla...
We are going to make Arizona's selection in 15 minutes to give them a little leeway in logging on in time. S24/7 you are free to jump them and make their pick.
Not a big Ingram fan. I really don't see him playing anywhere but 3-4 OLB. I've been plenty wrong before though.
Still looking to trade down from 31. I'm looking to add an early 2nd + a later pick (ie. 4th or 5th rounder, depending on what the 2nd rounder is). PM me.
Why do you think I got the pick in that fast? I knew he'd have to be the guy you were going to pick at this point.
Sometimes you have to be quick, and take the opportunities to get what you want. Twenty-Third Overall: Melvin Ingram, DE, South Carolina - Tampa Bay Buccaneers Ingram has been noted as the top outside linebacker prospect. The Bucs already invested in the linebacking crop so far this round with the best inside linebacker and it looks like they'll continue the trend here tonight and revamp the linebacking group. He is also a very versatile player with the strength to line up on the line and take on lineman at the next level, a bit undersized at just over six feet but I think he has the ability to be a disruptive pass rusher and you can never have too many of those. Good pick because I heard Arizona was taking him, but fumbled their draft card and give the Bucs a great gain. Issues with stack-shed are there. He just doesn't get off blocks all that great. But he's lightning quick + versatile. Perhaps a 40 Will.
You know what they say, better late than never. Twenty-Second Overall: Courtney Upshaw, LB, Alabama - Arizona Cardinals A little late with their draft card and the Cardinals will add Courtney Upshaw. A great leader with intangibles to take any defence into battle. He didn't come into the combine as great of an athlete as you'd expect. Will bring a good pass rush, but dropping back into coverage will leave a little to be desired. A respectable pick, and good value at twenty-two… or is it twenty-three. It's just too little too late"
Please Boik, by all means, don't feel like you're in any rush to make a selection. We're here for you buddy.
"No you hang up." "No you hang up." "No, you." "No, you." That is what the past four posts made me think of.
