New York Jets
Owner: Woody Johnson
General Manager: Scott Hisno
Oceanic Punter Head Scout: Paul 13
Head Coach: Ben McAdoo
Offensive Coordinator: Norv Turner | Defensive Coordinator: Mike Nolan
New York (GML-AP) – After playing in two straight AFC Championship games the New York Jets found themselves on the outside looking as they dropped three straight to end the season and watch the dream of playing in the Superbowl evaporate.
Once again the Jets find themselves in the growing shadow of the New York Giants. Who not only gave the Jets a thorough thrashing in week 16 at home, but who now find themselves going back to the Superbowl against the Patriots.
However there seems to be a light coming on the horizon as a shake up in the front office is expected with Mike Tennenbaum expected to step down this offseason. Owner Woody Johnson tired of Jim Isray getting all the attention from his perennial playoff bound team cleaning house after one bad season has decided to follow suit.
The question remains, will Rex Ryan be joining the likes of Jim Caldwell and Hue Jackson after new General Managers were hired to their perspective teams?

New York Jets introduce new General Manager and coaching changes
10 hours, 8 minutes ago
New York (GML-AP) – Jets owner Woody Johnson introduced new General Manager Ryan Schisno Tuesday afternoon after a brisk search due to the abrupt resignation of Mike Tannenbaum after a disappointing 8-8 season.
Ryan Schisno spent the last two seasons as a personnel man in Minnesota and New England, but will now have to decide who stays and who goes like locker room headache Santonio Holmes, or the much chastised Mark Sanchez, and return his team back to the AFC Championship.
Except the Jets will have to do it without the seasons offensive co ordinator as Brian Schottenheimer elected to resign from his post. Not wasting any time making his mark Schisno also announced Rex Ryan will not be returning as head coach of the New York Jets.
“It's my job to put the best team I can on the field, and it's also my responsibility to have the right man in place to lead that to a Superbowl.” Ryan Schisno said. “I love having confidence and bravado as much as the next guy, but you have to have accountability when you fail to meet expectations. Today I made those responsible accountable.”
“I want football players on this team. This is not a part time job while you model, or take your girlfriend of the week to the prom.”
Less than an hour on the job and the new General Manager is making necessary changes to get the Jets out of the shadow of the other hometown team, and the jewel of the AFC East, the New England Patriots and their Hall of Fame bound quarterback and coach.
