When I was in camp this weekend, the heat gets you delirious, and a thought popped in my head. I see this team and I see players that represented what was in Denver in 13. Take a look at these stats and comparisons: Moreno (Foster) 241/1039/10 60/548/3 Ball (Ajayi) 120/559/4 Thomas (Parker) 92/1430/14 Decker (Landry) 87/1288/11 (this one was tough, since Landry is a slot WR) Welker (Stills) 73/778/10 Thomas (TE) (Cameron and Stills) 65/788/12 I won't put up Manning's stats because I would get obliterated here. lol
Yeah sure. Could be. I think the '13 Broncos would be a little bit of a stretch as Peyton was en fuego for the first 2/3 of the year. So could Thill be 85% of what Peyton was? I think so. Their D started really coming on that year as well and we're still bringing in people off of 95 offramps as CB so I don't think our D will be as dominant at least early in the year at best case. Could this squad go 10-6? I really think so.
let's not forget what Emanuel Sanders did for them in year two for Gase as OC....and Julius Thomas was not healthy. Scary
Nice thoughts.. but I do think the heat had just a little bit to do with that comparison haha! I'm happy if it becomes clear Gase is the HC for the future. Get that right and the rest will come.
I am big on historical performances. The 2014/2015 Denver/Chicago team hand good numbers too. I'll stay patient, but, in the back of my mind, It won't shock me if we have a good offensive season
You're mad, mad I say!!! Super conscious visions are not meant to be taken lightly. Contact your local shaman to verify, they're usually strewn about your local health food stores in America...pick me up some tumeric while you're at it(and a Scooby snack from the Shaman(wink(he knows me(wink nod wink)))).
I guess the point of my post was after attending camp all weekend, you see players on Denver and Chic that remind you of these players we have. Parker is built like D Thomas. J Thomas was a relative unknown, like our TE's. The productivity by the RB's is what is of interest, all three years Gase was an OC (rushing and receiving). I would not be surprised if we didn't have a 1,000 yard rusher, but two-three backs that combined for 1800 yards. That was Gase's numbers in three years, and around 11-15 in rushing rank. That to me is a little skewed because of the amount of passing he commanded. Hard to believe that this kind of productivity would just stop all of a sudden.
