Nope! Even the reigning SB champs are possibly in the market for a LT according to this article: http://www.sbnation.com/nfl/2013/4/24/4261352/nfl-draft-2013-rumors-ravens-lane-johnson
The Oak/Det trade makes a lot of sense for both. Not sure if Austin to Philly makes as much when you have Maclin and Jackson already there. Gotta speculate about Maclin to Miami since we were hot before, but with Wallace/Hartline/Gibson contracts paying another vet seems unlikely (whereas a reasonable rookie contract ...). I think the Bills would preferably drop down for a QB, but the Jets are making noise to pressure them into doing it early. Would be a coup if it works. Not sure how anyone puts Nassib ahead of Smith/Barkley personally, but whatever.
Wow, we could see Miami & Buffalo both select a QB at 8 in back to back years. Poor poor Jills that the difference between #8 of 2012 and #8 of 2013 are night and day different.
Tavon Austin #4 overall hahahaha come the **** on. Even if it's true then wow this league has gone full ******
.... or this league is changing offensively to where a guy like Austin has immensely more value than in the past; then pair that with this draft having little disparity at the top.
With Chip Kelly in Philly, the rules are different now. Taking Tavon Austin is something I could see him doing, even that high. He's an out-of-box thinker, and he'll be looking to create mismatches all over the field.
SI is reporting that the bills are very serious about Matt Barkley..CK's been saying that all offseason, I think Marronne recruited Barkley, or something like that?
I'd be saying that too if I wanted Nassib but my rival, who also wants him, is picking 2 spots ahead of me. Try to lull the Jets into not moving up their 2nd for Nassib so that Buffalo can sneak in and leapfrog them. Just an idea.
He didn't recruit him. I think what you're referring to is a quote from Marone that stated how he felt about Barkley. He said he wishes Barkley would have entered the draft last year so he wouldn't have to face him this year. He also believed he would have challenged Luck for the #1 overall pick. At least, it was something like that.
The Pigs are lurking.....waiting for someone to folk over a bevy of draft picks for this knucklehead...... Matt Cassell anyone?
