I am not sure how these drafts can be considered stellar. Right now the only starter for the Dolphins from this years draft is Sturgis and he is only in for a few plays a game. Sims looks like he might be a decent TE prospect, but only time will tell. The rest of the draft was made up of players who still need to prove they can play at the NFL level. Jordan may end up being the next JT, but until he is actually healthy and gets on the field, we really don't know how good he can be. Taylor and Davis may be decent CB's in the future, but right now Taylor can't seem to stay healthy and Davis still has a lot to learn. I don't consider them stellar picks unless they can eventually become quality CB's in the NFL. Right now they are playing behind a very mediocre Nolan Carroll in the Dolphin secondary. As far as the rest of the 2013 draft. Gillislee is a RB that needs to be cut and the Dolphins need to bring in a veteran RB to replace him. Dallas Thomas, Jelani Jenkins, and Don Jones are replaceable players who, if they make the team will only do so because they were drafted. Not because they did anything special in preseason that shows they should be on an NFL roster. This may turn out to be a stellar draft in a few years, but right now we certainly haven't seen any real evidence that this is a fact. As far as the 2012 draft is concerned. The only thing that will make that draft stellar is if Tannehill becomes a true franchise type QB. Anything less than that and the 2012 draft would be considered a bust. This league is all about having a great QB and Tannehill has to prove he is a great QB. Only at that time would I call the 2012 draft stellar, no matter how any of the other players drafted in 2012 end up playing.
He's been open a lot more, and cannot help it if the QB throws elsewhere, and he has been blocking like a ******* demon.
I wonder if we don't find a better option than Pat Devlin at #3. If they're unsure about him, now is a good time to find a guy to cultivate with Matt Moore around for two more years. I think Greg McElroy would be a pretty good option in that spot.
I guess some fans are content with below average play. You get that when your team has not had a winning record in the past four years. Fortunately I remember when the Dolphins actually had outstanding players at most positions and above average players throughout their roster. That is what my expectations are for the Dolphins. Egnew just doesn't meet those expectations, IMO. I admit it, to me the season is a failure if your team doesn't win the SB. So the fact the Dolphins haven't even had a winning record for the past four years drives me nuts. Yet, I continue to spend thousands of dollars each year, going to games, hoping that they can eventually win another SB before I become worm food.
I don't know why they need a third QB on their 53 man roster. Belichick has not carried a third QB on the Patriots roster since he became the Patriots HC. He prefers to fill the roster with players who can actually contribute on game day. We know Tannehill is the starter and Moore is one of the top backups in the entire NFL. Cut Delvin and sign him to the practice squad if you want to keep him. Just don't waste his spot for one of the final 53.

He called it stellar and I merely pointed out that it is far too early to know if it is stellar or not. I admitted that it could turn out to be stellar in the future but I have no idea how anyone can call a draft which just happened a few months ago, anything but a work in progress.
Brady was not the starter when Belichick took over with the Patriots, yet he still had only two QB's on his active roster. So since Tannehill and Moore are obviously the best two QB's on the roster and Devlin will probably never see the field this year, I would prefer they keep at extra WR or someone who can plat on ST's than to keep Devlin on the 53 man roster. Obviously the Dolphins coaches may see things differently concerning Devlin. I just think if they cut him, he will still be around to sign to the practice squad.
I stand corrected then. I read earlier that Belichick had been going with only two QB's since he took over the Patriots. I didn't go go back and look at the rosters of the Patriots for every year since 2000. I do know that he has only carried two active QB's on his 53 man roster over the past decade. Thanks for the correction.
Not sure how that is right either, since in in 2005 he had Brady, Doug Flutie, and Matt Cassel on the roster at the same time. In 2007 he had Brady, Matt Gutierrez, and Cassel at the same time. In 2011 pretty sure they had Brady, Hoyer, and Mallett.
was he ever right on any of his predictions ? for a guy that is so busy...he tweets a lot and is not showing up here at all anymore
Why can't he learn to talk American? Save us a lot of trouble.
Misevaluation on my part with that guy..I believe it's attributed to not putting in the effort to go scientific on the body...it catches up ya know.
Wow. I thought he'd be a great for us pre-draft. Which round did he go in and why did they cut him?? I hope we take a look!
7th rounder, they have never even mentioned him on Hard Knocks, so no idea what went wrong, he is a 7th rounder after all i guess
