Considering Ireland didn't make Edwards an offer last year when we were bereft of talent at WR, why on earth would he make a play for him now? Not gonna happen.
I youtube'd Ernest Owusu to see if it was that WR who had all the concussions in college, because I recall him having a name similar to that, but all I came up with was a DE from Cal. EDIT: Chris Owusu is the WR, Ernest is the DE.
I was just thinking the same thing. Drafted in 2006 as I recall, so managed to hang around on the fringe and as a reserve for longer than most do that sort of thing. I thought he was going to be a lot better back then, than he turned out to be. He was the career receptions leader in the Pac 10 when he came out of college. IIRC.
Amazing that Hagan has played in 83 games and had over 100 catches. Lets say he were to average $500k salaries over the time he was in the NFL, then based on the number of games he's been active he should have collected at least $2.5 million.
Derek Hagan was the typical training camp and preseason wonder who disappeared when it really mattered. He managed to hang on for a few years though so he must have done something right.. The question is who is this years preseason wonder .There always seems to be one.
Bills cut Da'Rick Rogers The reason why I am posting this in the Dolphins forum is because I don't think it would hurt to add another receiving target to the team. I'd like Tanny to have as many good possible receiving targets as possible before the season starts, and since Keller went down I think it's smart to add another receiving target of some kind, so to generate discussion I'm curious what you guys would think about him on the Dolphins? Admittedly, I've never actually seen him play, but I have read good things.
He went from being a potential 3rd rounder to going undrafted and then cut in the 1st wave. Something doesn't add up there.
Hmmm. Not on my tapatalk app it's not. Anyways. Rogers is a classic case of extreme talent with 10 cent head. I actually love love his game. Especially early on with Tennessee. He just doesn't give enough of a **** and is a continuous problem. He's a top 3 round talent. Just far to much baggage.
someone on a philly message board claims that the eagles will release clay harbor today...i would be all over him, but i fear a team with a higher priority on the waiver wire will get him
Yea, I'm not against bringing him in, but it certainly wouldn't surprise me if he didn't beat out anyone we had (including Rodriguez).
