If I recall last year me and RickyBobby started talking the Philip River/Stevie Johnson trade on day 1 and I think by day 2 or 3 it was finalized and ready to go. So sometimes you gotta be the early bird. Edit: RickyBobby will have to refresh my memory...I don't even think it took that long and might have been sorted in one day and a mere 3 PM's?
I've found a couple of mistakes... not in the cap #'s per se, more in the fact that they have a player listed to begin with. For ex. they have Carolina with T Jordan Gross on the books for 2014 yet Rotoworld and some other site that I used (that I forget at the moment) for FA lists show him as a UFA. So he's not on the roster but if Carolina's GM were to discuss trading him thiinking he were on the roster, that could be a problem. This is where you guys need to doublecheck people that are on the list because they could be FA's. I didn't check everyone, but I did check most of them. Another example is S Brandon Meriweather of the Redskins.
And pulling out this classic for Buckeyeking getting the Jets: "You've been BK'ed!" I do however promise to try and get BK's name right this year and reduce my percentage of calling him "BucketKing" down to 25% of the time.
Maybe. Never know how things will go. Maybe I get lucky and work out a veteran QB trade and take him. Who knows if even a week from now if I am the guy picking at #1 ;p I'm using Spotrac as back up and yah they got the rest of his contract scrubbed there.
There is a reason for that and it's not simply because OTC is wrong. If Gross is on the Panthers roster 5 days after Super Bowl XLVIII, his contract is voided, making him a free agent.
Yah those early contract hijinks really mess with folks. Now Carolina is going to be down a guy all because Gross couldn't wait another week to have his contract voided ;p
Ok as I head to bed for real this time........... I am curious about the veteran QB option to see if there is something viable to be done instead of just going the auto route of picking Teddy. So if your looking to move a QB. Let me know. Maybe something there.
Nobody is untouchable on the 49ers roster. In the market for WRs. I have lots of picks and am ready to wheel and deal.
Once rosters go up I will post a trade block, but I don't really see anyone that is untouchable on the eagles. I'm willing to move Foles. Some early guys I would actively be shopping All Pro LT Jason Peters MLB DeMeco Ryans S Patrick Chung TE Brent Celek
Reports are surfacing that the Titans are looking to trade either up or down in the first round, unsatisfied with their current draft position.
I am also trying to move around Flacco if anybody wants a veteran QB instead of relying on the draft.
Looking to clear the Jags roster. Probably looking to keep the WR corp in tact. Every where else looking to ship. And for cheap. No ****in around.
One guard is gone (traded).... Pretty much everyone is available....except Ben, Bell, Jarvis Jones and maybe a few other players who will just be much harder to get....
You'd be getting ripped off. Seriously ripped off. At least eat 99.5% so you have a CHANCE to come out on top.
Thomas is gone btw to anyone interested in him... P.S Anyone interested in Champ Bailey, he's still around.
Wasn't last year. Though I'm not surprised. Its a one year QB/WR driven league and he draws attention.
Titans are going to sit down, wait, and evaluate their next move when rosters are released and trades officially confirmed. Any team with cap space can get Chris Johnson for dirt cheap however. Best offer there wins. Same with Jake Locker. GM Alex23 has hinted that Titans fans have a lot to be excited about this coming season...but what could that mean for a team stuck in perpetual mediocrity?
