Just noticed that the entire Thursday night schedule is all divisional games except the kickoff game and Dallas-Chicago late in the year. Weird.

I wonder of that's the NFL trying to lessen the burden of a short week by giving teams opponents they're more familiar with.

I wouldn't care if we were never on SNF or MNF. If they asked me, give us 16 games all on Sunday, at 1pm EST.

This schedule sux for me for another reason, my buddy lives in Hollywood and is a Browns fan and we'll only come to a Dolphin game with me if the Browns ain't playing, of course the Browns have one primetime game on Thursday night and we're in Detroit and then their bye week is the London game and even the only 4:25pm game they have we're not even home for that one, in Jacksonville. WTF NFL, did you even try to consult me on this? Bastards

Anyone else wondering why, once again, we have our bye week 5 and the rest of the AFCE has theirs on weeks 9 and 11 ?? Honestly I can't remember having our bye week any later than week 6, except one year we had it week 9 (I think), but the entire AFCE had it the same week... I don't get it ??

I think it's due mainly (if not entirely) to the fact that we're playing in London the preceding week. Not entirely sure, but pretty sure the NFL gives teams coming back from England the following week off.

I'll be very disappointed if the team gets gassed like they did back in the 2011 MNF game. There's no lockout this time to keep defenses out of playing shape.

I could buy that for this year, but what about nearly every other year ?? Just a little pet peeve of mine, I guess, but it seems the schedule makers seem to never change for us...

I only went back 10 years:

    2003: Week 4
    2004: Week 10
    2005: Week 5
    2006: Week 8
    2007: Week 7
    2008: Week 8
    2009: Week 6
    2010: Week 5
    2011: Week 5
    2012: Week 7
    2013: Week 6

So going back to 2009 we haven't had a bye week after or on the midway point.

yeah, same time they switched the schedules so that division games were played more at the start and at the end of hte season....?? I don't know, I'm not complaining about when our byes are so much as how they seem to compare to the rest of the AFCE....then again, I could just be having a "Florio" moment where I just can't seem to let it go....hehehe

We play seattle opening night on Thursday night football. Not too confident about that one.

Wait I thought the Bills were going to be playing the Lions on Thanksgiving? Did they abort the alternate NFC-AFC-NFC-AFC thing because the Dolphins and Bills keep finishing .500 or worse every year? Last year the Lions played an NFC team, and now they play the Bears this year.

Well, the explanation used to be that they wanted it early to have one week less with Marlins' infield being a factor. But I don't know the excuse now.....

Teams playing in London always have the Bye the next week!

It's just annoying that they put us in the first of the 3 games. The two others are in week 8 and 10.
