More than just a nickname. He left Oregon for spurious reasons and actually got busted for cocaine possession shortly thereafter. He's also gone on various public and bigoted rants before if I'm not mistaken.

You're not. He was a Sandy Hook conspiracy theorist and he has since apologized for those comments, but how daft must you be to believe that sort of thing in the first place?Cocaine is a hell of a drug.

 

Even without the flags, he is no better a choice than Amaro, Niklas or Seferian-Jenkins. I'd say he'd be about the 5th TE without the red flags. Though if a team wanted a well rounded TE who could block well too, then Fiedorowicz and Lynch may give him a run for the money for 5th TE.

 

Ah that's right the Sandy Hook comments too. Man. No kidding on that.
